Spring Brights :: The Donna Romper that Looks like a Dress

Hello My Beautiful Friends! Coastal Virginia got some incredible weather this weekend and you can say I was in heaven! It’s so nice to be able to wear dresses, rompers and shorts without being cold! Speaking of dresses and rompers, say hello to the Donna romper in this gorgeous tropical print. What I love about this romper is how it looks like a sheath dress! It’s literally the best of both worlds! The shorts or romper part underneath the skirt is cut from the same fabric but a doesn’t match the skirt exactly. It’s a fun peek-a-boo feeling if the skirt does fly up when you’re active, ha! However, when I’m wearing this Donna romper, I really don’t see the shorts at all and it looks like a dress the majority of the time.  Read more…

Shades of Pink :: Pleated Romper Styled Up & Down

If I’m completely honest, I love all seasons, even winter. There’s something so refreshing about the change in temperature, scenery and overall feel. With that said, I am quite partial to spring because of pink and peonies. This pink pleated romper has such a flattering silhouette and is one of those pieces you can just throw on and head out the door. The fabric is a luxurious satin that looks beautiful in any lighting and will complement so many skin tones. I truly love the way the fabric drapes. Pieces with beautiful draping always have my heart, so this pleated romper is naturally a favorite. Of course, one of the aspects really drawing me toward this romper is how it looks like a matching set. There’s a blouson “top” and flowy shorts when it’s really all a romper!    Read more…

The Perfect Chambray Romper for Warmer Weather

Spring is still a few weeks away, officially anyway, but I’m ditching my winter clothes as much as possible. Rompers are some of my favorite pieces for spring and summer. This off the shoulder chambray romper has a few unique details making it unique. The open back is darling, but I love the ruffle on the neckline. Plus, it has pockets, which instantly ups the cool factor on this chambray romper. If you are in a pinch and need something to wear during warmer weather, grab this babe and go. It has a stretch waistband so there are no zippers or buttons to fuss with. Easy on, easy off, which is something I can get behind. This fabric is relatively low maintenance. A quick steam got the wrinkles from shipping out. For sizing reference, I’m wearing size XXS and it fits true to size.  Read more…

Love of Sunshine :: Little Yellow Ruffle Romper

Happy Monday Y’all! Yellow never ceases to put a smile on my face. Ever since I was a little girl, this bright vibrant hue is a go-to color for me. Looking forward to spring, this little yellow ruffle romper is the perfect piece to add to your wardrobe. This color is sure to brighten your mood and make you stand out. Plus, rompers are so easy to wear. The little ruffle trim on the shorts is without a doubt my favorite aspect. The high halter neckline makes this a piece you can throw on and dress up or down. To dress this up a little bit, I’m pairing it with tan suede heels and these fun tassel earrings. However, you can also wear this little babe to a spring or summer wedding with glamorous statement earrings. To make this yellow ruffle romper more casual, you can wear loafers and a denim jacket, too. Read more…

Double the Denim :: Embroidered Romper + Button Down

Hey Y’all! I hope you had an awesome weekend and your week is off to a great start! I’m coming off of a super productive weekend, especially since the Air Show was in town. Some of y’all may recall last year, I had the incredible honor of flying with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. Check out my post to see if I passed out, how many G’s I could handle and my favorite part of the flight!

I’m doubling up on the denim in today’s post because it’s one of my favorite fabrics. This denim embroidered romper is a stunning piece. It’s currently on sale for less than $53 and looks so much more expensive than it really is. Also, I love how you can dress it up or down and throw on a super soft cardigan or leather jacket when temperatures drop. Wear it to brunch on the weekends or even out on date night. The straps are completely adjustable so this romper fits me like a glove. I definitely get compliments each time I wear it because the embroidery is so well done. Plus, I love the scallop detailing on the neckline. Read more…
