Designing A Top for Gibson x International Women’s Day Collection

Happy FriYay! I have some huge news to share with y’all and I’m beyond excited! A dream of mine for years is coming true: designing a top for Gibson x International Women’s Day collection! The collection launches March 8 on International Women’s Day and is available at Nordstrom. The top I’m designing is versatile so it’ll be great for both work and the weekend. I can easily see myself restyling it multiple times for different settings and I know you will, too! It comes in two colors and I can’t wait to share a sneak peek with you once the final samples are complete! Being able to share the process with y’all is very exciting and I can’t wait to share what’s next. One reason I love the top I’m designing in particular is its versatility. You’ll be flattering on so many different women. Plus, Gibson offers sizes XXS Petite to XXXL.

My favorite brand for vegan leather bags

Handbags are a special part of our wardrobe. Not only are they practical and functional but they are beautiful. To me, they are a part of our expression and a way to communicate who we are before even saying a word. I have a variety of handbags, both designer and those that are more affordable. Sole Society is my favorite brand for vegan leather bags.

One of My Favorite Winter Trend: Wearing Velvet Flats

Velvet is one of my favorite winter fabrics and I don’t think that’s going to change any time soon. I remember when I was first introduced to velvet. I was maybe 9-years-old and standing in the workroom of a woman who makes competitive figure skating dresses. I was getting my very first custom “big girl” dress and I couldn’t be more excited! My dress was made of a rich dark purple stretch velvet, complete with rhinestones.

What to Pack for a Winter Trip in New York City

The official start of Winter is less than a week away and during our time in New York City, I got so many questions about breaking down what to pack! Even though I absolutely love winter and snow, I do not like being cold. We all hear layering is key, but how do you properly do it? What fabrics should you get? How do you really stay warm? I believe in being realistic and not sacrificing for fashion. You can totally have both! Cozy up with a hot cup of coffee, tea or hot cocoa because I’m sharing what to pack for a winter trip in New York City!

Exploring the Best Views in Central Park

Hello from New York City! It’s been a bucket list item for years for Johnny and I to go to New York City during the holidays together. I have been several times before but unfortunately, he couldn’t tag along. This time, we are in the NYC for a good few days and are beyond excited to explore and check off some places we’ve been dying to visit! I’m partnering with Sole Society in today’s post to share some warm and comfortable pieces I’m wearing on my trip. Of course, you can’t go on a trip to New York without visiting Central Park. However, it’s quite vast and I want to save you some time. So I’m sharing the best views in Central Park and what I’m wearing to take in those views while staying warm.
