As August winds down and starts to make way for September, I’m adding more transitional pieces into my wardrobe. Think shirt dresses, booties and items you can wear in 100-degree heat and layer when temperatures drop. After doing grocery pickup with Walmart online, I started checking out other parts of Walmart.com and saw some good pieces for affordable fall fashion. I was surprised to find their selection online is vastly better than what’s available in store. Plus, you don’t have to sort through the racks to find your size. I’m excited to share some affordable fall fashion with Walmart in this post with y’all. Almost everything featured is less than $50, which is such a great price point!
Shirt dresses are my go-to when it comes to transitional pieces. They are lightweight and easy to wear during summer on their own and again in the fall with a cardigan or blazer. I chose the gray because it’s versatile and will style well with any color. However, it also comes in three other colors. Plus, it also has pockets! It’s available for only $12 at Walmart! Talk about affordable fall fashion.
I’m pairing it with this leopard print jacket, which is only $18. This jacket has a cropped silhouette, which you can see in the photos below. I love cropped length-jackets because they really elongate the body and work well with dresses and skirts. This leopard jacket is an affordable and fun way to jazz up an outfit, whether it’s a casual one or work style. It has a denim feel, so it’s structured but not too stiff. It was easy to tie around my waist.
Below, I’m styling it with a mock neck sweater and jeans for a slightly more dressed up look. These jeans actually exceeded my expectations. They are quite comfortable and stretchy, which is a huge plus! The wash is versatile blue so it’ll wear well from summer into fall. They have a raw hem but I’m rolling them up to pair them with black booties.
The booties are less than $50 and also come in cognac and a fun leopard print. I got black because I don’t have any low profile booties. They fit true to size and the almond-toe shape is so flattering on! Walmart is really stepping up their style game and I highly recommend checking out their selection if you’re looking to add fall pieces to your wardrobe and is on a budget!
