The Party Heels You Need for the Holidays

I love the glitz and glamour of the holidays. A great pair of party heels can really make or break your outfit. After all, I personally make shoe contact before making eye contact sometimes at social gatherings. I’m partnering with Sole Society to talk about the party heels you need during the holidays. These studded and strappy heels are one of Sole Society’s top-selling shoes and I can see why! They also come in adobe, which is a beautiful nude. For the holidays though, I can be partial to a good black heel. Mainly because I love to wear black tights or black leggings.

How to Style A Mint Green Cardigan for Fall and Winter

Given that temperatures are dropping in the western hemisphere and winter is starting to creep up, I want to share how to style a mint green cardigan for fall and winter. Plus, Norfolk just had the Grand Illumination Parade, trust me it’s a really big and bright deal, so that means Christmas is right around the corner! Mint green is traditionally more of a spring and summer color. I remember back in 2012, pining for all things mint, whether it was a good blouse or pair of mint gingham pants (holy crap, what a throwback to an embarrassing, younger version of me!). Mint is still a great color to wear but I can understand the challenges of styling it for fall and winter.

The Chunky Oversized Sweater You Need

One thing I really love about fall and winter is being able to wear really cozy things. This cream chunky oversized sweater feels like I’m wearing a hug. I know I’ll be snuggling up in it all season long. Plus, it’s 35 percent off today with code “25HOURS”  so I highly recommend you snap this up! This beautiful piece is almost like a sweater cardigan jacket hybrid. I love the oversized fit but it isn’t too overwhelming for those who are petite. Since this chunky oversized sweater doesn’t come in petite sizing, making sure it’s not too big is important. I’m wearing size XXS and love the fit. Wearing this makes me feel like I’m wearing a hug. This ultra soft fuzzy cardigan jacket has a very nice weight to it, which adds to the luxurious feeling and warmth. Also, it zips completely shut, which will block out the cold.

Styling a Statement Coat :: Rich Shades of Red

A statement coat is a must for the fall and winter. It’s the item you can throw over any outfit, walk outside into the crisp air and feel confident. My coat collection is one of my favorites and something I have been building for almost 10 years. This plaid statement coat is a heavy-duty piece with a classic silhouette. The woven fabric is a beautiful mix of rich reds with pinks and a little white to keep everything in balance. The notch lapels give that old-school look but the solo button closure makes this statement coat modern. I’m wearing size XXS in this jacket, which does have an oversized fit. This is handy for when you’re wearing thick sweaters or multiple layers. However, if you’re petite, you may need more alterations. The sleeves are a little long on me but I prefer longer sleeves to keep my wrists warm.

How to Style Sneakers for Fall

I have a confession to make: I’m a sneaker addict. I’m not quite sure when this all started, but for years now, I have been in love with sneakers. I own a ridiculous amount of pairs I’m not quite comfortable disclosing. Probably because it’s embarrassing. I cannot exactly wear sneakers to work. However, I can wear them almost everywhere else. Today I want to share how to style sneakers with style. Sneakers are getting increasingly popular and can be worn day to night. Styling them can be a tricky situation, especially since sneakers do look so good with workout clothes or athleisure. However, they can look extremely stylish if you pick the right pieces.
