Hello, Everyone! Happy Weekend!
I’m still settling into Norfolk, but I am loving it so far! I’m now officially on air at WTKR Newschannel 3 and it’s so exciting! I’ve been adding more Elizabeth & James into my wardrobe since I love their modern and fresh take on a lot of pieces. While some of it I cannot wear to work, I love them for after and the weekend! This striped dress is just darling, but I love the silhouette more than the print. This is extremely flattering for petite ladies as it really elongates while having an a-line shape.

This striped flutter sleeve cropped blouse is just darling! It has a slightly boxy fit and would be perfect with jeans for a relaxed dinner date or paired with a skirt for a fun weekend activity. I’m adding more t-shirts to my collection and I scooped up this polka dot one. Smaller sizes are running out fast, so act quickly. I’m going to start wearing more pants to work that aren’t jeans, so I’m giving these cropped pants a try. I love the bright blue color too! Also, for the last month, as I was moving, I lived in this field mechanic jacket. It was warm, had tons of pockets and the hood is hidden in the color, so you can whip it out when it rains.

Off the shoulder dresses are in right now, so I rounded up my favorites. I love the shape of this striped ivory dress. The color of this periwinkle dress was so pretty, perfect for fancy and casual functions. The stunning perforations on this coral dress caught my attention immediately. This could be appropriate for work if you have a relaxed dress code and be perfect for dinner functions and parties. I talked about the perfect white lace dress earlier in the week here, but when you have lace and off the shoulder, that’s another ball game. This J.O.A. one has stunning lace details.

As you may know, pineapples are the hot commodity this moment. This pineapple blouse is a great work appropriate take for more relaxed environments. I’m thinking I just might have to wear this on air soon! Cropped cardigans are a dream for petite ladies. I love wearing them since they keep me elongated and I don’t have to worry about tucking them into skirts or pants. Fun shorts are a must. You can’t go wrong with gingham or pineapple. I can see myself wearing the pineapple shorts with a striped tee.
