Happy Monday Y’all! The start of this week is a little rough for me since I had a 6-day work week. My weekends are usually pretty busy, but when I need to ram everything I usually accomplish in two days into one, it gets difficult. If you’ve been a Color & Chic reader for a while, you may remember I love wearing solids to work. They pop on TV and don’t make viewers dizzy if the pattern decides to “move” because it’s too small. This orange bell sleeve dress makes a simple statement without the need of anything else. The crepe fabric is simply stunning. Plus, the cut of this dress really skims over the body and elongates. I’m a big fan since I need all the help I can in the height department. On taller gals, this dress may run the risk of being short, but on petites, it’s perfect.

This orange bell sleeve dress clearly stands out on its own. I haven’t seen a color this vivid and truly breathtaking in a while. In person this dress truly “pops” unlike anything else. I’m keeping everything else simple with a chic shade of black. These wool tights are a great affordable alternative to the cashmere ones I own. Plus, they’re much warmer than fleece-lined or cotton tights. In the winter, you want as much wool and cashmere as possible to keep you cozy. I can wear these tights with flats for as low as 35-40 degrees. However, if it’s colder than that, I wear my favorite over the knee boots to keep me warm. These have a slightly rougher finish, which I enjoy. I love to layer these tights under jeans or other pants when it gets chilly.
