Happy Wednesday Y’all! Gosh, the weather in Coastal Virginia the past few days have been phenomenal! I’m remembering exactly why I love to live here, ha! I snatched up this adorable top with floral tie cuff sleeves during a big sale thinking it would be great for spring. Surprisingly enough, it’s great for work, too, which is always a great discovery. It’s a super soft cotton material and the swoon-worthy floral tie cuff sleeves are bracelet length. Plus, since it’s more form-fitting, it’s perfect for tucking into pants or skirts if you would like! I’m wearing size XXS Petite and it fits me perfectly. I also found a similar style top with an extra 40% off, making it $18! What a steal!

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll notice we are in May sweeps or ratings period. For those of you who may not know, in the TV industry, there are a few months out of the year (February, May, July and November) where a company called Nielsen Holdings checks to see how many people are watching what station, for how long, if you change the channel, etc. It’s a very important time for news stations because we want to get good numbers. Sweeps can be stressful because we’re constantly competing¬†(I mean aren’t we always anyway?). However, we also have special reports airing many of us work on for months, sometimes even more than a year (that’s me). Plus, I love working at my station because the culture is phenomenal. On the first day, our news director put up a bunch of printed memes around the newsroom and was handing out snacks! If you live in Hampton Roads, please watch us!
