What to Buy from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Public Access

YAY! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 is open to the public! Now, everyone can shop the Nordstrom Sale whether or not you are a cardholder or not. Nordstrom has said they anticipate having additional inventory for many items August 19. Fingers crossed they are restocking some popular items! The sale can easily be overwhelming as there are so many different items available. Remember, it’s important to check out frequently as items frequently sell out. Try to check out every 10-15 minutes as opposed to waiting until you are completely done shopping to help ensure your items don’t sell out. So many people will be shopping the sale, so this is one of the best ways to make sure you get the items you want!

In this post, I’m going to share my top picks from Nordstrom Anniversary Sale still in stock. Get ready for a bunch of try on photos since I am also showing multiple ways to style items from the sale. If you are new to shopping the NSale, it’s a big deal since new items for fall and winter go on sale first. You can save up to 40% on items. Then, prices will go back up when the sale ends August 4.

Size: XS and fits true to size. Great for both petite and taller gals.
Review: RESTOCKED! My favorite leggings I think I’ve ever gotten. Buttery soft, hold you in without being super tight or compressive. Fantastic for working out. The real star of the show though is how you can style this with regular sweaters, tunics and sweater dresses and not just wear these in the gym. I’ve probably worn them at least every week since getting them last year.
Price: $59.90, After Sale: $90.00

Size: Wearing Size 5.5, fits true to size.
Review: I don’t own boots this color and thought it would be great to add to my wardrobe. I love how they don’t slouch and stand up on their own without being too stiff. Knee-high height on me fits perfectly and I love the chunky heel. I’m actually able to put them on without unzipping, too.
Price: $149.90, After Sale: $249.95

Size: Wearing Size XS, fits true to size with an oversized fit.
Review: Super chunky, oversized yet doesn’t overwhelm my petite frame. This one is selling out fast. I also ordered the Tuscan Earth color for fall to match my boots and since I don’t have a sweater that color. I recommend layering over a cashmere sweater or tank for warmth when temperatures drop.
Price: $69.90, After Sale: $108.00

Size: Wearing Size 00, fits true to size. Petite sizing not available for Dark Berry.
Review: J.Crew makes my favorite blazers. For the price, they are absolutely excellent and the quality is wonderful. This is a classic fit blazer in a beautiful stretch crepe. It has some pull and give but has that structured business look. Lined, fits like a glove and perfect for both workwear and casual outfits. Also in black and navy and fully stocked! There’s also a matching pant, too.
Price: $98.90, After Sale: $198.00

Size: Wearing Size XS, fits true to size, great length for petites.
Review: While I am not a big fan of the faux-leather leggings, I do like these! A great alternative to black pants if you want something more comfortable and stretchy. I don’t think this would fly in very conservative and strict work environments where actual slacks or dresses are required (say a courtroom) but for most workplaces, these are fantastic. No pockets but you have to sacrifice something for work pants that feel like leggings.
Price: $84.90, After Sale: $128.00

Size: Wearing size M because they ran out of XS last year. Intended to swap out sizing but the medium wasn’t bad at all and I liked the cozy look. Plus, I figured it’d be great for when I get pregnant, lol. I would still say they run true to size.
Review: Worth the hype! Super soft, cozy and warm despite being lightweight. Comes in four colors and I love how this version has a shawl collar and pockets!
Price: $68.90, After Sale: $116.00

Size: Wearing Size XS, fits true to size, great length for petites.
Review: I didn’t bring this home, but if you’re looking for a fun animal print dress, I love this one! Great fit, smocking at the waist and I love the long sleeves. I appreciate how it’s lined and you can pair with a blazer for business casual or knee high boots for fall outfits when the temperatures dip.
Price: $98.90, After Sale: $149.00

Size: Wearing Size 0, fits true to size. I have a smaller bust so it zips up well. If you have a larger bust, size up one size to zip.
Review: Available in all sizes in the white leather! My first designer leather jacket purchase and I couldn’t be happier. Worth every penny and one of the best purchases from this Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. The leather is buttery soft, I love how it zips up all the way and has pockets. The blush pink is absolutely beautiful in person and it’s such a good neutral!
Price: $299.90, After Sale: $450.00

*The nude pink color is actually on super sale for $160 and so is the suede version!

Size: Wearing Size 5.5. If you have narrow feet, order your size. If not, size up half a size.
Review: I’m very surprised by these! The quality is great for the price and they are comfortable. Comes in a few colors, but the tan faux-suede was my favorite by far. The tan faux suede is almost sold out, but all the other colors are fully stocked.
Price: $125.90, After Sale: $188.00

Size: Wearing Size XS, fits relatively true to size. Sleeves are a little long on me. I prefer them cuffed anyway.
Review: A great affordable plaid blazer you can wear for years to come! It’s lined, has actual pockets and fits well. Great for casual outfits, workwear and anything in between. Fabric is more lightweight and not as structured. Overall, great buy.
Price: $68.90, After Sale: $139.00

Size: Wearing Size 24, fits true to size. Petite friendly length.
Review: The softest jeans and they are ultra stretchy. They truly feel like leggings and are that comfortable. Length is a dash long on me but overall very petite friendly.
Price: $125.90, After Sale: $188.00

Size: Wearing Size 5.5, fits true to size. I have super skinny ankles but the opening isn’t too big.
Review: The most comfortable booties I was able to try on! Many of the others were uncomfortable the moment I put them on. These have an almond-toe, which elongate your legs but doesn’t feel restrictive.
Price: $99.90, After Sale: $189.95

Size: Wearing Size 5.5, fits true to size.
Review: The best boot purchase I have ever made are Stuart Weitzman boots. They are an investment, but I truly believe if you buy nice, you won’t have to buy twice. SW boots are comfortable – I can walk around in them all day without any discomfort. Next, they are actually warm. I’ve worn lower quality boots and my legs always get cold, which I’m not a fan of. Yes, they are real suede but if you take care of them, they’ll take care of you for a lifetime. Spray with Scotchguard, wipe off any excess dirt, salt or snow stains as they appear and get them properly cleaned after winter. When you pull them out again in the fall, they’ll be like new. Two heel heights are available this year, I’d recommend the lower option for the most versatility.
Price: $499.90, After Sale: $795.00
