Happy Wednesday My Beautiful Friends!
I’m not one for suits per se, but this is my version of suiting up. This tuxedo romper is tailored with a wrap-front. It also features cuffed 3/4 inch sleeves and a belt to cinch in the waist. Plus, my personal favorites, pockets. I’m wearing a size 4 petite US, which fits sizes 0-2 petite. On me, this romper hits at the right length, but if you’re taller than 5’5, I would not recommend getting the petite size. It will definitely be too short. The regular sizing will be a much better choice for those who aren’t vertically challenged.
While I was in Austin the weather was superb. There was a small chill in the morning and evening, but during the day it was nice and warm. I wore this Topshop tuxedo romper all day to brunch, see friends and then for the drive back to Dallas. It’s such a versatile piece and with pumps, it might even be office-appropriate. This is great for going out to eat and will look great with heels or lace-up flats. You could even throw on gray tights once temps get cooler. Or over the knee boots would look amazing, especially these burgundy ones.
Blush is still my favorite color to wear, even though fall is upon us. When I saw this blush tuxedo romper, I knew I had to have it! But it also comes in ivory and a fun fan print as well! Both the blush and ivory will be incredibly versatile. I threw on my burgundy crossbody satchel since I loved the idea of playing with different shades in the same color family.
