Jumpsuits are easily becoming a favorite of mine. A fantastic alternative to a dress, you can dress up or down a statement jumpsuit, wear it to work or even as cocktail attire. I want to share a white statement jumpsuit that’s sure to make you stand out at your next event or even at work. First of all, the illusion neckline is so elegant and comfortable to wear. It can be very irritating when you find a great piece of clothing but constantly have to pull it up when you’re wearing it. Plus, a higher neckline is better for those who are small chested since it adds the illusion of more. The split leg overlay on the pant legs of this jumpsuit is so well done. The overlay adds a little bit of drama without being over the top.

I’m currently working on a recap of our trip to Washington, D.C. to catch the cherry blossoms. Stay tuned for that post next week! My sister and I stumbled upon this spot outside of the Tidal Basin. It’s actually where we took these photos as well.

Many brands are doing a great job with their petite sizing and White House Black Market is no exception. I’m wearing size Petite 00 and this jumpsuit fits perfectly without alterations. I’m 5’3 and I can wear this jumpsuit without heels, too! This is perfect for ladies who are about 5’4 or shorter. I will note if you have a longer torso, this might not work for you. I think if my torso was a little longer, the crotch area could be a little tight and uncomfortable. The overlay skirt gives the appearance of a wide leg but the legs aren’t that wide. They fit and feel more like a slightly loose trouser but is a bit more tapered in the thigh area. Another aspect I really like about this statement jumpsuit is how easy it is to get on and off. I can zip this up by myself and get out, no problem.

If you’re a fan of this jumpsuit but don’t like the illusion neckline, there’s an option without it. The convertible split leg jumpsuit comes in four colors: fuchsia, black, white and dusty teal. I would believe the sizing runs about the same, so I would take a Petite 00 as well.
