Our Stay at Nomo SoHo in New York City

New York City is without a doubt a magical place for us. We have been a handful of times but somehow the magic never fades. A neighborhood we are growing to love and spend more time in is SoHo. We’re so thankful the NoMo SoHo Hotel hosted us for our final night in New York City. A hidden gem in the hip neighborhood, NoMo SoHo has modern and stylish rooms without sacrificing comfort. You have everything you need and sweeping views of the city. The front desk was able to accommodate our early check-in around noon, which was very much appreciated!

The first thing we noticed is the decor. Everything is exquisitely done. The main color of the hotel is blue and you’ll notice this as you exit the elevator bank, go down the hallways and into your room. It’s a small touch but we really love the room key cards and how they feature the culture of SoHo. We stayed in a classic king room. As you can see from the photos below, there is enough room for our luggage, belongings and maneuvering around. We only stayed one night but if you are there for a longer stay, take advantage of the drawers under the bed! They are quite spacious and will help keep you organized throughout your stay. I recommend these packing cubes and love throwing them into hotel drawers.

One of our favorite parts of NoMo SoHo are the views from the hotel. There are floor to ceiling windows and the views are simply breathtaking. I say this all the time but I could look out at NYC all day long. In our room, the bed was quite close, so it was nice to just lay in bed and take it all in the next morning before our flight. The staff at NoMo SoHo really do go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. After a long night at Stars on Ice, Johnny and I came back to a handwritten note, huge fruit plate and VOSS water. Definitely, a welcome treat and we were parched! To say we devoured it would be an understatement.

I mentioned earlier SoHo is one of our new favorite neighborhoods. It’s walking distance to lots of delicious food and great shopping. Some of our favorite stores we visited on this trip include Topshop and Nike SoHo (definitely worth a visit, it’s so cool!). Plus, the Canal Street stop is steps away from the hotel so you can get anywhere you need without a long walk.

You may recognize the NoMo SoHo Hotel from its walkway with greenery arched in a romantic, whimsical setting. The hotel is tucked behind this and while it is beautiful during the day, at night is spectacular. I love how the light illuminates the greenery and makes it all the more magical. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to dine at NoMo Kitchen but it has fantastic reviews. This is on our list for the next time we are back in the city.
