OUTFIT DETAILSGreen Flower Branch Dress (Petite 00, 40% off w/ code LOVEMOM), Denim Jacket (also here & similar)
Nude Two-Strap Heels, Nude Leather Sneakers, Black Sunglasses, Kendra Scott Earrings c/o
When looking for clothes to add to my wardrobe, being able to wear them again in different ways is a big must. I believe in spending money on quality items you can reach for for years to come versus fast fashion you wear once or twice and never again. I want to share how you can wear one dress two ways to get the most bang for your buck. I’ve had my eye on this flower branch dress for a while. It’s currently 40% off with code LOVEMOM, which makes it $40! There’s a soft spot in my heart for long-sleeve dresses because I’m always cold, especially inside with AC! This dress has a fitted waist and a slightly flared skirt for a feminine touch. Plus, the colors are truly beautiful. Let’s get into how to wear one dress two ways!
The first way to style is for work or slightly dressy occasions. Two-strap heels are my go-to when spring or summer comes around. If you are in an environment where you can wear open-toe heels, this is perfect! If not, a sleek pair of pumps (get $40 off with code HKCUNG40) would be just as beautiful. I love the silhouette of this dress with the flared skirt because it’s more conducive to dressing it up or down.
You can wear this dress on its own for work or throw on a blazer to make the look even more professional. Another reason I particularly love this dress for work is how low maintenance the fabric is. It doesn’t wrinkle easily so after sitting at your desk, you won’t find unsightly wrinkles when you stand. Of course, there are more than two ways to wear this dress but these two are my favorites for now.
For the Weekend
Break out your favorite pair of lifestyle sneakers and throw them on because this dress is perfect with them. For this particular weekend look, I like these nude leather sneakers. It adds a touch of a sporty look but still feels chic. plus, who doesn’t like the comfort of sneakers? I will admit, if this dress had a sheath silhouette, wearing it with sneakers would be a little difficult. However, thanks to the flared skirt, it fits with the sneakers better.
These sneakers are a favorite of mine when it comes to lifestyle looks. I love the leather and how the laces say swoosh. Definitely, a fun piece and I get so many compliments every time I wear them.
To keep up with the weekend vibes, I’m throwing my favorite denim jacket (also here & similar) over this dress. It also adds a nice layer for when it gets cold inside or at night. When looking to style a dress again for the weekend, I look for different shoes or outer layers I can change up. Another great option would be to pair this dress with sandals, too.
