Hey Y’all! What a beautiful month April was for me. It was my birthday month and filled with great highs. I probably say this all the time, but it truly feels so good to be home with family. Of course, I love all the outfits I put together and share on the internet with y’all but this month, there were some real gems I particularly adore. As always, there is plenty of color, so I hope you’re ready! Of course, if you follow me on the LTK app or follow me on Instagram, you’ve most likely seen these outfits before. However, I love sharing them in this method for those who prefer to read blogs.
I originally posted this more than a month ago, but since Express reposted it on their IG, I shared it again on mine. This jumpsuit truly is such a goodie and perfect for weddings and cocktail parties this season. The color online on the model appears much darker. However, I’m in fact wearing the wine color and it is much pinker and vibrant in person! Definitely a favorite outfit from my April Instagram round-up.
On HK: Nike Cropped Tee (XS), Nike Pro Leggings, Denim Jacket (also here & similar), Nike Air Max Sneakers, Kendra Scott Earrings c/o
On Nathan: Nike Sportswear Sweatshirt (comes in a few prints/colors)
Two top-performing items in one photo and who would have guessed I’m not wearing one of them? I got this jacket last year and it is easily one of my favorite pieces of clothing. I’m not too keen on denim jackets but this one is truly a standout. The military look with gold buttons really make this unique. Sadly, it’s practically sold out everywhere but I was able to find it a few places. It’s on sale at Nordstrom (unfortunately, only in size medium left) and also available on eBay brand new. Fun fact: 80 percent of what’s sold on eBay is brand new.
Obviously, I cannot take any credit for Nathan Chen’s awesome Nike Sportswear shirt here. That’s all him and his sense of style. However, upon posting this photo on IG, I got lots of messages about where it’s from. After some investigative digging, I found it! It has more of a sweatshirt feel and fit. Plus, it comes in a few colors and prints. Nathan is wearing the Los Angeles skyline option. This sweatshirt isn’t cheap but it’s definitely a great piece your man can wear for years to come.
I call this outfit spring perfection. This is one of my favorite outfits from my April Instagram round-up. I originally got this style cami last year in plain ivory and wore it so many times. It’s a versatile piece you can wear to work under blazer and cardigans. Then, you can style it again casually for the weekend. Sadly, these crepe tie-waist shorts are selling out very fast. Most small sizes are gone but this pair and this pair (also crepe) are very similar.
Y’all know how much I love these Nike joggers. I cannot stop swooning over them, which is why this outfit is in my April Instagram round-up. You may recall them from sporty looks here and here. But they aren’t just for the gym or running errands. Dress them up for a cocktail event like I did here at rstheCon. It’s a unique look and will make you stand out amidst all the dresses. Plus, it’s super comfortable and easy to wear! Personally, I love having pockets.
A look at some of my favorite shoes this spring and into summer. A few splurge items mixed with more affordable pieces. I know they are all nude but that’s because they will go with any outfit, any color. All of these run true to size, too.
I love two-piece sets and they are on trend this spring and summer! Yellow is one of my favorite colors to wear, so it’s no surprise I went for this set. I’m wearing size XS in both the top and bottoms. This is perfect for vacations, too! I’m wearing this set with super comfortable wedges. I could honestly wear these for hours and my feet will be just fine. These are actually featured in the shoe image above.
Tie-Waist anything seems to always be a big hit! These yellow pants are actually from last year but I found them on super sale for $25. They also come black, too. I’m wearing size Petite 00 and while they run a little bit, the tie-waist makes the fit work. Love these for both work and weekends.
My favorite spring coat for about three years running and it still looks brand new. While this is a top-seller for my April Instagram round-up, this coat is a top-seller for me every single year. The wrap silhouette is so easy and flattering. It goes over casual and dressy outfits. Plus, the quality is truy incredible. Snap it up in blush or grab the gray or black on sale!
This romper needs no explanation. It’s a gorgeous color, has pockets and a really fun back you tie into a bow. Love this as an alternative to wedding guest dresses and for any spring social events you have. Wear with heels like I am here for casually with sandals.
