On Her: Polka Dot PJs (also love these + these) On Him: Gray lambswool sweater (on sale), Flannel PJ Pants | Initial Mugs, Water Heater (best investment I’ve made), Kitchen towels, NOEL display (similar), marble Christmas tree decor
Hello Everyone! Johnny and I absolutely love our mornings together when he’s in town. We love making breakfast together (more on this below!) before heading out, whether it’s work or on a weekend adventure. During the colder months, we love staying in our his and hers PJs and taking our time before starting the day. Johnny tells me he wants us to start traditions, so this year I am kicking off the Christmas PJ collection.
Johnny doesn’t wear PJs too often. He says he gets too hot, but my 2-year tenure in Nebraska made him think otherwise! Now, he enjoys a new pair of pajama pants when I bring them home at the start of the holiday season. It is pretty chilly in Virginia now, so I keep a few sweaters for when Johnny is in town. This lambswool one is great for both casual and dressy settings.
Unlike Johnny, I am always cold. I like PJs with a tighter fit since they keep me warm. Not pictured is Johnny’s Better Sweater, which I sleep in at night because Johnny turns the heat down to 71 and turns on the fan. These polka dot ones are so fun and I love the festive red. Plus, I like when his and hers PJs aren’t too matchy matchy. I also like these thermal ones for extra cold nights.
Since moving to Virginia, I discovered the best buttermilk biscuits. The best part? You can easily make them at home because they come frozen. I was hunting for frozen dragon fruit at Whole Foods one day when I spotted these Mason Dixie biscuits. The packaging says they are voted the best biscuit in America. Johnny responded with a why not shrug. We gave it a go with our dinner that night and we are now in love. You just pop them into the oven at 375 for anywhere between 30 to 40 minute, depending on how flaky or moist you like your biscuits. I prefer mine more moist.
