[outfit_details]Gibson Floral Cheetah Maxi (wearing Petite XXS comes in two other prints), Gray Booties
Blush Crossbody, Kendra Scott Easton Earrings, Too Faced Lipstick, Texas Ring[/outfit_details]
Over the past few years, my love for maxi dresses has grown tremendously. I love how comfortable and easy they are to wear and when fall rolls around, the longer length is perfect for cooler temperatures. This Gibson wildflower maxi dress, which is the perfect blend of cheetah and floral prints, is one of my top-sellers! One reason I love it for fall is how versatile it is. Wear casually with flats or dress it up and wear on dinner dates or out with friends. It also comes in a beautiful burgundy print along with solid black. I’m pairing this maxi dress with booties for fall but it would look just as good with heels or even flats. Per usual with Gibson, I’m wearing size Petite XXS, which fits perfectly without alterations. The sleeves and high neck make this maxi dress perfect for wearing from summer to fall.
In this post, I want to share four fall dresses I’m loving and think would be a great addition to any wardrobe. You can wear these casually or dressed up. When it comes to fall fashion, you want versatile pieces you can mix and match.
This maxi dress is my favorite for fall but I want to share three other dresses I’m loving. These are at different price points and vary in length a bit. My four fall dresses are on the longer length but all petite friendly and easy to wear. Mix it up with accessories and you’re good to go!
Burnt Orange Midi Dress
A perfect color for fall if you’re looking for a solid dress. I love the sheer sleeves and feminine touches of frill on the cuffs and waist. If you want to wear this casually, style with booties or even flats. I could see this for fall engagement photos, pumpkin patch outings or more. If you have a fall wedding to attend, throw on strappy heels and statement earrings. When it gets cold, throw on a denim jacket or a leather jacket to keep warm.
Cream Dotted Dress
You really can’t go wrong with a cream dress. I love how this dress is a neutral color but the dot texture really takes it up a notch. If it’s still warm out, this dress would be beautiful with heeled sandals. I love dresses with sleeves for fall, even if they are sheer. This dress has a bit of a full skirt, which is fun for twirling around in for fall. Since it’s a neutral color, it’s good for workwear too!
YELLOW LONG-SLEEVE MAXI
Yellow is my favorite color to wear but it’s not just for spring or summer. Pair it with touches of cognac and it’s perfect for fall. The layers on this tiered maxi dress make it perfect for my list of four fall dresses. Similar to the other dresses I’m sharing here, this would be cute with a leather jacket! When looking for maxi dresses that are petite friendly, I do like to see how short it is on the model. If it’s a bit shorter, it’s usually good for Petites without alterations. This particular dress also comes in light blue, too!
