Striped Cardigan & Messy Braids

Fall and winter are two of my favorite seasons to dress for. I love the colors and, of course, layering pieces. This striped cardigan is made of fun colors, which makes it so easy to pair with other items already in your closet. It’s super soft and so cozy! One aspect I really enjoy about this particular cardigan is how you can wear it to work and on the weekend. I have it in a few colors and always love getting the new season’s version because my sister and I share. This look with distressed jeans is more casual and great for the weekends. Plus, paired with messy braids, it’s the perfect combo for fall.

Five Ways to Strengthen Your Relationship

This post was made in collaboration with Chase Freedom Unlimited. All opinions are my own.

It can get easy to get caught up in everyday life and not devote as much attention or time to our partner as we should. However, I truly believe love is a verb and it doesn’t take grand gestures to strengthen your relationship. It’s often the small things that can really show how much someone truly pays attention and loves you. For example, Johnny knows how important figure skating is to me, so when I embarked on this goal to take figure skating more seriously, he joined in! I want to share five ways to strengthen your relationship. These are not elaborate or super expensive, but they show your partner you love them and appreciate them, which in turn will make your relationship closer and stronger.

Sleep Secrets: Why We Love Our Leesa Mattress

I truly believe sleep is a necessity. It’s not a luxury and my productivity and success depend on it. One of our biggest sleep secrets? Invest in your bed and your bedroom. We spend so much time sleeping, why are we skimping on this vital time for our body and brain to recharge, recover and reset? I sleep about nine hours a night and it’s the secret to my success. Many people have asked, “but don’t you lose working time during the day?” The answer is no because by sleeping nine hours a night, I’m so much for effective during the day. When I don’t get enough sleep, I’m tired, I’m slow and I end up losing even more time during the day by taking naps or just not being focused.

Comfy Fall Outfit for Relaxing at Home

Hello Everyone! October is officially here and I’m so excited to share a comfy fall outfit for relaxing at home. While the weather isn’t exactly crisp per se, there’s nothing wrong with a pair of comfy pajamas and cozy slippers. Slowly but surely, I’m incorporating more fall decor into my apartment and it’s nice to match with my pajamas! Not going to lie, I’m a bit of a collector. I love, love pajamas, especially the soft variety! This is my second set from Tommy John and they pleasantly surprise me every time. They are super soft, warm but not too thick and come in cute colors! The long sleeve henley and joggers are my favorite. I’m always cold, so even sleeveless tops or shorts for pajamas make me uncomfortable under the thickest duvet.

How I Stay Accountable To Myself

This post was made in collaboration with Chase Freedom Unlimited. All opinions are my own.

It’s been four months since I set a goal to take figure skating seriously again. To be honest, it hasn’t been easy. As with any goal or task, it’s so important to hold yourself accountable and stay strong. Easier said than done, right? We all know what it’s like to say we are going to save an extra $100 a month, then see a cute workout outfit online and want to hit “add to cart” right away! Or, say we are not going to eat out more than once a week but make a quick stop at Chipotle. Holding yourself accountable is hard! I want to share how I stay accountable to myself whether it’s a goal for work, finances or in this case, figure skating.
