The first time I ever got a facial was 2018 and I still remember how incredible it felt. My skin felt so clean and fresh, yet even though I love skincare it took me four years to get another one. (If you’re local to Dallas, I’ve been loving Vio Med Spa for their hydrafacial!) You’re supposed to go once a month, but that can get expensive very quickly. I was about to start searching at-home pore cleansing tools when BeautyBio came out with the GLOfacial! While this BeautyBio review is dedicated to the GLOfacial, I’ve linked more of my favorites below.
What I love about this pore cleansing tool is it mimics the one used for facials at a spa but is designed for home. I’ve been a fan of BeautyBio’s GloPRO at-home microneedling tool for years and use it three times a week on my skin to help with texture and glow. Plus, I use it on Johnny’s head to help with hair growth and scalp health. (Other recommendations: The Quench Face Cream, Bright Eyes Cooling Eye Gels, and The Eyelighter Concentrate)
Back to the GLOfacial BeautyBio review! It comes with three different attachments, but the small treatment tip is my favorite. I love how it can get into tight spots such as around the nose! The device will beep if you aren’t holding it in the proper position, so you know to readjust which is helpful.
I like to use it in downward motions for an inch to two inches each. One aspect I really appreciate is that not too much water or concentrate come out. It’s the perfect amount to give your skin that clean feeling, but doesn’t dribble down your face and onto your neck.
The waste jar is without a doubt my favorite though. It’s so cool to see all the junk that comes out of your skin! The GLOfacial pore cleansing tool will get some good chunks and it’s incredibly satisfying to see.
