Throughout my pregnancy I relied on dresses because I didn’t want to invest too much money into maternity clothes. Instead I wore a lot of easy, flexibly sized silhouettes. They were especially useful near the end when the weather warmed up! These are some of my favorite bump friendly dresses, many of which I already own, for spring and summer.

The vibrant purple shade of this dress is simply beautiful, and I love the bright pink as well. They both make such a statement and pair wonderfully with the timeless silhouette.

Smocking is amazing for bump friendly dresses because it makes it easier to wear throughout pregnancy. This striped one has buttons that are great for breastfeeding later on.

This is a fantastic option for a wedding guest. My favorite part about it is the belt that you can cinch just above the bump! The print is stunning in person.

I love this dress for a wedding as well! The gathered bodice, puff sleeves, and tiers are all so romantic, particularly when paired with the floral print.

I’ve worn this midi dress so much and it’s still a favorite. The silhouette is incredibly flattering and really grew with me throughout pregnancy.

This is another fantastic dress you can wear over and over again. The cutout bow back is a simple detail that makes it feel so much more elevated!

M.M.LaFleur Addie Dress

A looser dress like this is amazing for a growing bump and would be great to wear home from the hospital. Pregnancy causes your body temperature to rise, so the lightweight cotton poplin is one of my favorite details.

M.M.LaFleur Edith Dress

I’m a huge fan of M.M.LaFleur because they design such chic workwear! This pleated dress would be perfect to wear into the office.

Abercrombie & Fitch has been a great source for dresses and this maxi is no exception. I love the ruched sleeves and tiered skirt, as well as how easily the dress can be dressed up or down.
