Style is great but comfort plays a big role in the pieces I select. Unless it’s for a special occasion, I want to be comfortable in the clothes I wear because that makes me feel confident. This yellow tiered maxi dress is exactly that. Made of a super soft, stretchy jersey, this dress almost feels like I’m wearing pajamas! It’s truly so easy to throw on and walk out the door in. I’m wearing size Petite XXS and as you can tell, it’s perfect for petite ladies. I’m 5’3 for reference and the length hits right above my ankle. The straps are also adjustable, which makes it easy to find the perfect fit. I’m quite partial to this yellow tiered maxi dress but it also comes in a beautiful blue stripe, too.

This dress is part of the Gibson x The MotherChic collection launching today at Nordstrom. Lindsay, one of the bloggers I met during my own collaboration with Gibson for Nordstrom in March, is quite impressive. A Mom and business owner, she’s launching her own collection with Gibson and there are truly some fantastic pieces. This tiered maxi is one of my favorites, though.

I’m styling this dress with my favorite two-strap heels but a way to dress them down is with a pair of white sneakers. Love how it adds a sporty vibe and changes up the look of this dress. I recently got these white sneakers myself after owning the nude pair and wearing them so often. I highly highly recommend these and prefer them to Keds. I know the price point is higher but for less than $100 these sneakers are great quality, so comfortable and will go with so many outfits.
