Ever wake up in the morning, walk into your closet and think you have nothing to wear? That’s where investing in classic pieces you can wear again and again comes in handy. If you have essential pieces you can mix and match, knowing they will look good together, you’ll save time and money in the long run. I get questions all the time about work clothes for women, and I always recommend M.M.LaFleur because their styles are so versatile. I’ll be sharing seven outfits I put together with pieces that range from casual to business professional.

- Skinny Pants in Ivory
Now let’s get to the outfits you can wear to work and on the weekend.
MONDAY
Personally for me, I like to really dress up on Monday! It’s a fresh start to the week and I like to kick things off strong. This Cynthia dress is a washable wool, which wins in my book and is incredibly practical for work clothes for women! The fit on this sheath dress is superb and it comes with a thick belt to really cinch in your waist. It’s a conservative cut, but made modern by being strapless. I’m wearing size 0 Petite and it fits like a glove!
TUESDAY
If you love blazers, but cannot get behind how stiff they can be or may appear, try this Jardigan. Yes, I spelled that right. It’s a jacket and a cardigan in one. Soft and ultra stretchy, yet cut professionally like a jacket or blazer. I have this in two colors and always get compliments when I wear them! It comes with a sash so you can tie it in the front or in the back, whichever you choose. Plus, if you’re strugging with work clothes for women, throw this on top and it’ll add that extra level of professionalism! I’m wearing size XS.
WEDNESDAY
I cannot say enough good things about this knit top. It’s truly a stellar piece and worth every single penny. I own it in two colors and can promise you won’t stop reaching for it! It’s a thicker knit material that is workwear appropriate, but casual enough to pair with jeans or shorts on the weekend. Whether you wear it on its own with skinny pants or wear underneath a blazer, it won’t fail you.
THURSDAY
These Colby pants are a new addition and I am in love. The front pleat gets me and I appreciate how they can feel more casual depending on how you style them! They could pass as a jogger pant, while also being appropriate enough work clothes for women for most environments. I like how the front of the pants have a flat seam and the elastic is hidden on the side and through the back. Plus, they are wrinkle-resistant, which is great for travel! Wearing size 0 Petite Short.
FRIDAY
Casual Fridays are fun, but sometimes I like to go out with a bang. I’m pulling together some of the pieces I wore earlier in the week and restyling them here. The skinny pant paired with a ribbed silk jersey tank and the jardigan over top with loafers give this more of a casual vibe.
SATURDAY
If you have date night or maybe a special event to attend, I love how this tailored sheath dress can be dressed up with sparkly earrings and heels. If you need it to be more casual, take off the belt, tie a denim jacket around your waist and pair with white sneakers for that laid-back vibe!
SUNDAY
While I love dressing up, a fun casual look always has a place in my heart! To make my casual outfit more elevated, I went with a monochromatic look. I love this silk jersey tank and wanted to let it shine on its own. A fantastic wardrobe staple to have during the week to wear under blazers and cardigans, it’s also great on the weekend! I love how it has little straps to keep your bra strap in place so they don’t show (a total no no), too!
