As I get older, I try to make it a point to rewear more pieces and invest in quality. Because I’m a fashion blogger, I’ve purchased a lot of clothes and accessories, and have been able to really hone in on what’s worth buying. These are my wardrobe staples I go back to again and again!
This is the classic blazer of my dreams because of how easily it can be dressed up or down. Sometimes I’ll wear this over a t-shirt and other times I’ll pair it with nicer pants. It is well constructed and fits true to size, but does have a little stretch to the wool that I appreciate. There’s also a size for almost anyone because it’s available in three different fits!
M.M.LaFleur is masterful when it comes to creating polished pieces that are also very comfortable. This crewneck is basically a nicer version of a t-shirt, and is made out of a very stretchy and structured knit. It’s such an easy way to look a little more tailored without making any extra effort. Definitely one of my wardrobe staples!
These leggings have been one of my wardrobe staples since 2016 and they still look brand new! They are a workout legging but I also consider them to be a more elevated athleisure option for running errands or working from home. Plus, the sheen comes from the actual fabric instead of a coating, so you don’t have to worry about it flaking off. My only recommendation would be to let them air dry, but I’ve also put them in the dryer and they always look great.
I think so highly of Nike and have always been impressed by their design and quality. These shoes are one of my most worn pairs for that reason! Unlike a lot of white sneakers, these are the same shade of white all over which does create a sharper appearance. I also find them to be super comfortable and versatile. Whenever they need cleaning, I just grab a toothbrush and Dr. Bronner’s soap and they look as good as new!
I’m always looking for pieces that are timeless and modern, and these definitely fit that description. I love how heeled sandals are the best of both worlds! These feel casual enough for lunch with a friend but could also be worn to a wedding. The texture of the braiding combined with the square toe make just enough of a statement without overpowering an outfit.
These are my absolute favorite pair of joggers and one of my favorite wardrobe staples! I get so many compliments on them, which is funny because no one ever realizes they’re actually athletic pants. Because of the invisible Nike swoosh and elongating tapered leg, I’ve worn them with dressier pieces as much as I’ve worn them with other athleisure. Plus, the dri-fit technology is perfect for Texas because you stay comfortable even if you’re sweating. I recommend washing these on the delicate cycle and laying them flat to dry.
This is the perfect sweater and one of my top wardrobe staples! The blend of merino wool, alpaca, and stretch fabric is so incredibly soft and warm. I love how you can style it for anything from a cozy cabin weekend to a corporate meeting. There are always SO many colors to choose from too.
Finding petite friendly jeans I don’t have to have tailored is the best. Agolde is one of the most popular denim brands right now because they fit really well and are super comfortable. I like the fading on this pair because like the heeled sandals, it’s both timeless and modern. Note I wear a size 23 in these. They run big!
Kendra Scott is my go-to source for jewelry because of how fun and classic their jewelry is. The open frame makes these super lightweight, while the crystals bring a lot of sparkle. I wear these all the time dressed up or down!
