SKINCARE

CLEANSING

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Cleanser– This is incorporated into my morning routine and perfect for cleaning my skin. It doesn’t strip my skin of essential oils or makes my skin feel tight, but gets it clean.

FARMACY Green Clean– I haven’t used this yet, but so many of my readers say they swear by this, so I’m adding it to the list. This is perfect for removing makeup before cleansing your skin.

Fresh Soy Face Cleaner– A gentle, hydrating cleanser that easily takes off all of my makeup. I love how it balances out my skin while softening my skin texture.

TREATMENT/EXFOLIATION

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Scrub– A recent “re-discovery” I now use this twice a week and it keeps my skin baby soft. I love how it’s more of a chemical scrub, so you leave it on for two minutes, it does its thing and you rinse off.

Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask– I alternate between this one and the one above during the week. I love this one because it’s gentle but so effective.

Kiehl’s Microdose Retinol– I started using this after turning 30 and so far I love it! I apply at night, but with this microdose formula, you can also use it in the morning. You get all the benefits of retinol without the harsh side effects of redness and drying.

MOISTURIZE

Tata Harper Water-Lock– I love the consistency of this. Lightweight, but has hyaluronic acid so it really holds moisture in. Plus, the jar is refillable so you can save money and prevent waste by buying the pods!

Peter Thomas Roth Cloud Cream– The texture and feeling of this is truly unlike any other. It’s weightless and ultra-soft, while providing long-lasting moisture. Definitely a must get when it comes to my fall beauty products.

La Mer Soft Cream– I know this is probably the most expensive moisturizer, but you truly only need the smallest amount! It lasts so long and this is one I always go back to. The miracle broth made with sea kelp is so good for the skin. You can also try the original Creme de la Mer, too. Just be sure to warm it between your fingers and then press into your skin.

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream– Great for dry skin and a little bit goes a long way. I really appreciate how lightweight this is, too!

Laniege Eye Sleeping Mask– What I use to keep that area under my eyes moisturized every night. I love the applicator and how it feels super cool against my skin to reduce any puffiness.

BeautyBio The Quench– I used this during winter and it was incredible for my dry skin. I love how rich it is but doesn’t feel like it’s sitting on top of your skin. I noticed my skin was plumper and firmer.

FARMACY Daily Greens– A wonderful lightweight moisturizer. I used this all spring and summer and love the gel-like texture. Love how it’s a clean beauty brand, too!

Origins Ginzing Eye Cream – Gosh, an oldie, but a goodie! Not currently in my rotation but swore by this when I worked in the field as a reporter. Love how it’s brightening, lightweight and reasonably priced.

Kate Somerville Lifting Eye Cream– A new addition I’ve really love! Lightweight and a little bit goes a really long way.

Lancome Genifique Night Cream– Been loving this during pregnancy! Is pregnancy safe and a new favorite of mine. Locks in hydration in your face and acts as a moisture barrier.

Kiehl’s Avocado Eye Cream– Hydrates, smoothes and de-puffs your under eye. I have loved this and you cans see results after just one use!

TANNING/BODY

Tan-Luxe The Body Self-Tan Drops– I bought this during my New York trip and I got tan overnight. I use four drops for each leg and three drops for the rest of each body part. Mix it in with your favorite body lotion, I use this one, and let it sit overnight. Don’t forget to wash your hands, but you will get tan. You can add more drops for a deeper tan.

St. Tropez Extra Dark Mousse–  I’ve used this for years and it’s one of my favorite self-tanners. It does require a little more maintenance than the drops becaue you need to rinse it off the next day. But it’s a great way to get tan overnight, too.

Nécessaire Eucalyptus Body Wash– A product I started using this year, I love how this lathers and smells. I’m a huge fan of anything eucalyptus, especially in the shower!

L’Occitane Shower Oil– I love using products with a more luxurious feel in the fall. It’s almost like enveloping myself in a hug. This shower oil has almond oil to keep your skin ultra soft and moisturized.

FACE MAKEUP

La Mer Soft Fluid Foundation– A definite splurge and to be honest, I would not purchase this if it wasn’t part of the Sephora Sale since the price tag is so high. However, you get the benefits of La Mer’s famous kelp broth in makeup, which is a win-win. I usually only use this on special occasions or important days.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation– A new favorite just a few weeks in. I love the finish of this foundation and shade 6 neutral is the perfect match for my skin right now. This is a medium coverage foundation that’s buildable. Lasts all day without getting too oily, too. Plus, it doesn’t oxidize too much.

Estee Lauder Double Wear– My holy grail foundation for every day. The coverage you get with this foundation is incredible and this tops my list when it comes to my fall beauty products. I use shades Spiced Sand and Cashew.

Ilia Skin Tint– My new go to I am loving! This is a new clean beauty brand I’m in love with. You’ll apply it like a serum after vigorously shaking. It goes on just like skin and has great coverage. Plus, I love how it has SPF.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk– Nothing compares to the finish of this foundation. It truly looks like skin while giving incredible coverage. I believe this was one of the first designer foundations I really fell in love with and it’s a cult classic. The makeup artist who did my makeup for the Draper James photoshoot used this and it looked phenomenal.

Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder– A beautiful foundation that’ll make your skin glow, truly. I love using this on days when I want a radiant glow to my makeup as opposed to a more matte finish. This glides on whether you use a brush or beauty blender. A definite favorite when it comes to my current spring beauty regimen. I wear shade Medium 7 when I’m tan.

Westman Atelier Full Coverage Foundation Stick– Absolutely love this foundation stick! Also can be used as concealer, too. Gives a natural finish with medium coverage. Not too heavy, but is perfect for uneven skin texture or redness.

CONCEALER

NARS Concealer– My go-to concealer because of how bright this makes my undereye look. The formula is such a goodie and sits well on top of foundation.

Too Faced Concealer– Incredibly creamy, opaque and a great overall concealer. I love using this for under the eyes and to highlight my nose.

Lancome Teint Idole– I got to try this concealer a month ago and really love the coverage! I really like the finish, too.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away– A dream concealer and so easy to apply!

POWDER

Charlotte Tilbury Powder– My favorite powder to use hands down, especially if I’m going to be photographed. This truly gives you an airbrush finish and your skin will look flawless. I use the color medium. This is also one of my go-to fall beauty products when I travel since it’s compact.

Lawless Setting Powder– A clean beauty favorite, this setting powder will keep you shine-free all day long.

FENTY Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Setting Powder–  A new addition to my beauty routine. I use the shade Butter and it’s perfect for setting my concealer and my foundation. Stays matte, doesn’t look cakey or thick.

La Mer Loose Powder– I got this during the Spring Sephora event and it is a dream! Such a splurge, but truly gives such a soft diffused finish. I couldn’t recommend it more.

Kosas Cloud Set Baked Setting Powder– Lightweight and sheer setting powder that makes your face look flawless with removal of shine, but still having glow! I have been using it recently and it’s slowly becoming a favorite of mine.

Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder– I always love using this powder, because it gives a flawless and natural finish. Long-wearing and easy to apply. I use the translucent, but also comes in translucent medium and translucent dark.

BLUSH/BRONZER

FENTY Beauty Sun Stalk’r Bronzer– I’ve been reaching for this bronzer recently and really love how opaque it is. It’s matte and I love the finish. I use shade Bajan Gyal and it’s perfect for me.

NARS Matte Bronzer– I finally hopped onto the Laguna wagon and have no idea where I’ve been! This is such a great bronzer and I love how it’s matte.

Charlotte Tilbury Blush– When I need to use blush, I’ve been reaching for this one over and over. I use the color Love Glow and it’s the perfect shade.

NARS Blush– A cult classic I have been using for years. I love shades Amour and Orgasm.

Tarte Cream Bronzer– One of my new favorite bronzers! It’s the perfect amount of creamy and a little bit goes a long way.

Ilia Multi-Stick Cream Blush– Buildable color for cheeks and lips. Love that this blush has a dewy and luminous finish on my face!

Tom Ford Soleil Glow Bronzer– Beautiful glowy bronzer that is buildable and leaves your skin looks luminous and bright. Love how soft it is and how easy it applies.

Rare beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush– A perfect blush for spring and summer. Very pigmented and easily applies, so only need a little bit! Has a radiant matte finish, medium coverage and is long-wearing. Comes in multiple shades for the perfect color!

EYE MAKEUP

EYESHADOW

Urban Decay Basics Palette– A great price point with all matte colors, this palette is a dream! I’ve been using for about two years and it transitions well from season to season.

Tartelette Palette– I just got this for a friend because the colors in this palette are divine and the price point is excellent.

Dior Couture Palette– A recent staple of mine that I love and the quality is superb!

Tom Ford Eye Color Quad Palette– I have this palette in shades Desert Fox. It’s the perfect mix of neutrals that look good with anything you wear.

BROWS

Charlotte Tilbury Brow Lift– a new addition I love so much! This pencil looks so natural and I love how you can refill it! I use shade Black Brown. Dark Brown is also another great option.

FENTY Beauty Eyebrow Pencil– I’ve been loving this eyebrow pencil recently. I love the brush it comes with versus a spoolie.

Brow Freeze– This is a game changer and truly keeps your brows looking fluffy and full all day long!

Charlotte Tilbury Tinted Brow Gel– I use this when I don’t have time to really fill in my brows but need to do something. Love the brown color as it blends seamlessly.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze Gel– I love this new brow gel! Gives the ultimate hold with easy application.

ETC

Kat Von D Liner– My holy grail eyeliner. You need this. End of discussion.

FENTY Beauty Flyliner– The Fenty team sent me this after I ran out of the Kat Von D and I’ve really enjoyed it. I do want to note a ton of product does come out so work fast if you can. I love the finish – relatively matte with little shine.

HUDA BEAUTY Lash Glue– The BEST eyelash glue hands down. I love this glue because it comes off in strips and not in tiny pieces. Plus, the glue completely comes off and leaves your lashes clean, which means you can wear them longer!

LASHES

*I do want to note I can no longer wear these lashes as I continue to have some type of allergic reaction as of 2018. Before then, I wore all kinds of false lashes, including mink, silk and faux without any problems. If you want to take advantage of the sale I recommend these below.

HUDA BEAUTY Lashes– Love love how these lashes look on. From natural to dramatic, these look so realistic.

Velour Lashes– The very first pair of mink lashes I ever owned and they are some of my favorites!

LIPSTICK

Too Faced Liquid Lipstick– Hands down my favorite lip product and has been for two years. I have the colors Cool Girl, My Type, Child Star and Sell Out. These last forever and I can apply in the morning then eat, drink and still trust I still look good. The color Cool Girl is a favorite and I definitely recommend taking advantage of the Sephora Spring Savings Event to stock up. If you want a good red, Lady Balls is perfect.

Charlotte Tilbury KISSING Lipstick– A great moisturizing formula that wears well. The color Nude Kate and Pillow Talk are my favorites. These will last a few hours, but I wouldn’t call them ultra longwearing.

YSL Rouge Pur– Tried this in December and can’t stop using it. I love the formula even though it doesn’t last as long as a liquid lipstick. The color 10 is my absolute favorite and is the best pinky nude color.

ILIA Lip Balm– I started using this a couple weeks ago and love it! It’s amazing on its own, over lip liner or even over a liquid lipstick. It doesn’t peel and the color Hold Me is my go-to.

Tarte Juicy Lip Balm– This is exactly what it says it is. Juicy and the perfect tinted lip balm for spring!

Dior Forever Liquid Lipstick– I have become a huge fan of this lipstick! I practically wear it every day. I have it in the shade Forever Nude and Forever Dior. It applies so smoothly, doesn’t dry out your lips and stays on for so long! A definite favorite of mine this year.

Patrick Ta Silky Lip Creme– Stunning liquid lip with a matte finish. I love the cream formula and that it’s long-wearing! Doesn’t smear or dry out your lips. I wear it in shade “She’s Independent” and it’s the perfect neutral pink beige.

LIP LINER

Charlotte Tilbury Pencil– One of my favorite pencils because of how creamy it is. The colors iconic nude and pillow talk are cult classics and a must get during the sale!

Makeup By Mario Sculpting Lip Pencil– A new lip liner I am loving. It’s so creamy and lasts all night long!

Make Up For Ever Artist Color Pencil– I love this lipliner and use it almost every day. I have it in shade Anywhere Caffeine and it is the perfect color for my lipsticks. It is creamy, matte finish, and lasts for a long time.

HAIR

Briogeo Micro-Exfoliating Dry Shampoo– I worked this into my hair routine a few months ago and it’s been a gamechanger. I have dry scalp and this really helps gets everything clean and fresh. It has a mousse like texture that’s a little different and it doesn’t suds up like traditional shampoo. I recommend using this at least once a month. Bonus if you get the scalp scrubber.

Briogeo Scalp Revival– Also to help with my dry scalp, I apply this at the roots and really let it sink in. Then, I’ll use whatever hair mask or conditioner in my current cycle on the rest of my hair.

TOOLS OF THE TRADE

Artis Brushes– These are now my favorite brushes to apply foundation, contour and do some eyeshadow blending. I recommend getting the 3-piece set because it’s really all you need. I use the oval 7 to blend my foundation seamlessly in less than five minutes, which is a gamechanger!

Foundation Brush– This brush may not look special but it will apply your makeup without any streaks. I couldn’t imagine applying makeup without it or my favorite sponge.

Tapered Brush– One of my favorite makeup brushes of all time! I use this to apply powder under my eyes and set my concealer. It’s the perfect shape to get into the corner of your eyes. I also use this to apply setting powder, too! It’s perfect when I’m traveling so I can eliminate the need for an extra brush. Works great with the Airbrush Flawless powder and loose powder, too. I recommend buying two so you can use one for blush and one for powder.

Beauty Blender– You have to get this and you have to use it wet. I have tried similar ones and they are just not as good. I use this to smooth out my concealer, cream contour and more.

Rose Quartz Roller– I use this every night and in the morning if I have time. Use it in upward motions because our skin is like shingles. This really pushes the product into your skin.

Tweezers– Love these for keeping my eyebrows groomed and those stray hairs away!

PRODUCTS

Dry Shampoo– Easy to use, doesn’t leave a whitecast on dark hair and doesn’t build up a ton like other dry shampoos!

Length Strengthening Shampoo– I’m working on growing out my hair and I can definitely feel a difference in the texture and strength of my hair. My hair feels thicker and healthier, which allows it to grow!

Length Strengthening Conditioner– The accompanying conditioner to my shampoo. I use this every other week when I wash.

Hair Spray– Extreme hold hair spray but doesn’t make your hair crispy. I use this to tame fly-aways and tease my hair.
