I got to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023 and got some great pieces! I’m excited to share fit reviews for each of the items I loved, whether I bought them or was just trying on to share with y’all. As always, I’m only sharing pieces I truly love or feel would be of great value. Each year, I focus on high-quality items that will last a lifetime. Building a wardrobe doesn’t happen overnight and it’s more economical to take your time. This year I wanted to curate great wardrobe staples I can reach for and know you will too.
It is best to shop online so you can easily get the size and color you want. I don’t recommend doing online ordering and in-store pickup because someone else in the store may pick up the item you want before a sales associate can pull it off the rack.

I originally purchased the gray version of this coatigan a few years ago and it’s become one of my most-worn pieces. I love how luxe it feels and the fabric is both warm and breathable. This is something you can wear for workwear and also casual looks.

When I first saw this, I instantly knew I wanted it. I love how it’s a dress and a cropped sweater. It’s a wool and alpaca blend, which is breathable and warm. You can wear the dress on its own, although you will most certainly need nude seamless undergarments. Plus, each piece can be worn separately.

If you’ve been wanting a leather jacket, this is it! The quality is unparalleled. The leather is incredibly soft, yet thick and warm. I own this jacket in a dark blush from 2019 and it’s one of my favorite outerwear pieces. If you buy this, you won’t have to buy another leather jacket again – it’ll last a lifetime.

I love the neckline of this, but overall this sweater is a bit disappointing. The cashmere is quite sheer – I feel like you can see my nude seamless bra still, let alone my jeans. It is $100, so keep that in mind if you decide to purchase this.

This is an unexpected favorite from the sale. It’s super comfy, stretchy and nursing friendly. Plus, I love how it has pockets. The length is a hair long on me (I’m 5’3) but otherwise I couldn’t be happier with this!

A favorite of mine for nearly seven years! I reach for this every fall and winter because it’s so comfortable and flattering. It was also bump-friendly and I wore it six months pregnant! Made of a thick cotton this isn’t the warmest sweater, but you can layer it over cashmere for warmth.

Cashmere is my favorite cold-weather fabric and this 100-percent cashmere sweater is less than $100! This is great for wearing on its own, layering and comes in tons of colors. The red is a favorite for the holidays!

A best-selling dress with y’all for two years in a row! This dress is so versatile. Perfect for workwear with flats or pumps, style for date night or cocktail parties with strappy heels, or dress it down with sneakers.

The version I own is from a few years ago, but the only difference is the swoosh is in the center now! I love the oversized fit with the cropped length. Dropped shoulders give it that cozy, laid back feel.
