I feel so grateful to say I truly felt the most beautiful on our wedding weekend. My close friend, Austin Ryde, flew in from Los Angeles with his assistant to do my makeup and I couldn’t have been happier. We got the chance to do a mini “trial” of sorts because he came into town the month before and did my makeup for my bridal portraits, too. If you’re working with a makeup artist for your wedding, I think it’s crucial you do a trial. This way you can tell them what you love and what you don’t love, and can tweak the look before the big day! I’m excited to share the products Austin used for my wedding makeup look, many of them I also use regularly.
Austin used a wide variety of products to create my wedding look. I’m going to call out and share more about a few favorites. All of the products are incredible quality and I think really made a difference. Austin didn’t really have to “touch up” my makeup a lot and I think that is a testament to the products!
SUQQU The Cream Foundation
I love how this foundation gives the most beautiful glowy finish and is also incredibly durable. There were a lot of emotional tears wedding weekend and we were outside a lot. My skin looked flawless without being cakey thanks to this foundation.
Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eyeshadow Palette
I typically love all things matte, so when Austin whipped this palette out for my wedding makeup look I was a little apprehensive. However, I love the finished product and am so glad I trusted him! This palette gave me a little shimmer on the eyes without being too much and I love the warm tones.
INGLOT AMC Eyeliner Gel
I feel like I will forever have a winged eyeliner or cat-eye liner be part of my signature look. If you love something, you love it, you know? I typically use a liquid liner, but back in the day when I was a bit more patient, I would use this gel liner. It’s truly the best. Absolutely will not budget and is the darkest black. Apply with an angled brush and it’ll be perfect.
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer
You’ve heard me sing this concealer’s praises many times, but there’s a reason it’s a favorite. This does an incredible job at brightening under the eyes, doesn’t crease and provides beautiful coverage.
Dior Rouge Dior Forever Liquid
This lipstick has been a favorite of mine since December 2021 so when I saw Austin pull it out of his kit, I said, “ooh! I have that!” Shade 100 is the most beautiful, natural, pink nude color and it lasts. I’m pretty sure Austin applied it around 3 pm and I never got a touchup. It lasted through the ceremony, pictures, the reception and was still on my lips when I went to take off my makeup that night!
