Baby Registry Must Haves

Blogger Hoang-Kim shares her baby registry must haves from her nursery

I’m so excited to share our baby registry must haves with you! As you can tell from the images, the nursery is underway and we have started moving some things into the room to make space in the garage! Creating a baby registry can be overwhelming. When Johnny and I first found out we were expecting, we agreed we didn’t want to accumulate all this stuff. Of course, if it’s necessary, we’re getting it. But we wanted to keep things more minimal if possible.

We used Babylist to create our registry because you can combine multiple retailers such as Amazon, Target, Nordstrom, Saks and even small businesses. We found it was super easy to navigate, so long as you provide a few instructions for guests. They will need to copy and paste your address when checking out as it’s not auto populated. Plus, they will also need to mark their gift as purchased and provide you with the order number, but these are easy to do in the grand scheme of things!

I’m going to break up my baby registry essentials up by how I have things organized on my registry: general items, diapering, feeding, baby gear (transportation), clothing, bath time and a section for parents. This way it’ll be an easy baby registry checklist for you to just add things to yours. I’ll also include some of my favorite children’s books and recommendations sent in by fellow readers. For our baby shower, we asked for everyone to please bring a book and sign it instead of a card so we could build baby girl’s library with books from those who love her so much. Without further ado, here are our baby registry must haves!
