We are one week into fall and I’m already as happy as can be! Fall and winter fashion is always a favorite for me. I love playing with textures and NYDJ has an incredible selection of jeans in fun fabrics at Nordstrom. My favorite pair for fall are the NYDJ Ami Stretch Velvet Skinny Pants. The fit is perfect and so petite friendly. I’m wearing size 00 and the lift and tuck technology really elongates your legs! These are high waisted and great for wearing to work, on the weekends and for any fall gatherings you may have. They truly are the velvet skinny pants you need for fall.

One of the reasons I love fall is how it’s a season of change. So much has changed for me this year, from moving home to pursuing blogging full-time. Velvet is easily one of my favorite textures for fall and winter. Long gone are the days where velvet is not a good look. Velvet can truly make an outfit look classy and elegant, whether it’s for any parties you have this fall, date night or even in the office. If you want to make a subtle statement, reach for velvet pants. Trust me, you cannot go wrong!

These NYDJ velvet skinny pants are super versatile. They are the velvet pants you need for fall. Wear to work with a blouse and blazer or style with a satin top for fall parties like I am here. Even though they are skinny fit, they aren’t too tight like some pants are, which make them very appropriate for work. You can even wear these pants with a nice fitting sweater for the office as well. These pants are a little long on me, only about two inches extra. I can easily fold them up inside and skip having to alter them. However, NYDJ does offer plenty of petite options.

This pair of dark denim that’s high-waisted would be a great go-to if you’re looking for something that’ll go with everything. I love how there isn’t any distressing, so if you work in a slightly more casual work environment, you can get away with wearing these. Plus, this fit is incredibly flattering, so you can wear with a light sweater, chunky tunic and over the knee boots for fall.
