I cannot believe it’s the middle of the week already. Time is flying by so fast! My fundraiser is in just two days and I leave for Austin in three!

This week has been full of finalizing details for my show (stage set, decor, reception layout, printing final updated posters, etc) and whenever I’m promoting my show, I like to look put together, but still keep my feminine and colorful sense of style. I have been dying to wear these Martinez Valero turquoise peep-toe pumps with colorful circles all summer. I almost kicked myself for not bringing them to New York with me. They’re so much fun.

Tucking a colorful top into a skirt is a tried and true combination for me. It highlights curves and keeps your figure, while looking sophisticated. When I’m in a rush, I always look put together by throwing this combination on. I add a belt for something the eye can catch onto when glancing at the outfit.

This trusty ceramic white Anne Klein watch has seen me through the majority of my important events. I like white watches because they give off a very “light” and airy feel. Not to mention, a white face makes it easy to read the time in the dark with little lighting.

A trick I have for comfortable shoes are heel liners and insoles. 99% of my shoes have heel liners in the back to keep my slim heels from slipping out. It definitely adds to the comfort factor as well since I don’t have to concentrate on keeping my feet in my pretty shoes.
