Red Tie-Waist Pants (wearing size 00 Petite, also in lavender, olive and chambray)
Heart-Print Henley, Black Heels, Kendra Scott Earrings c/o, Chanel Boy Bag

Work clothes don’t have to be boring. These red tie-waist pants are a great staple for the office but also for the weekend. I have these in yellow from last year and they are some of my favorite pair of pants. Of course, the fact they are currently on major sale for only $30 is a huge perk. These pants are a top-seller and are very popular with my readers and those of you who follow me on Instagram. I want to go into more detail about them and different ways you can style them. Plus, these pants come in so many different colors, so I want to make sure no matter which color you order, they flatter you.

First off, let’s talk about fit. I’m wearing size Petite 00 but these tie-waist pants run large. I would say I have about an extra inch or so with these pants. However, thanks to the tie-waist part, you can cinch it in a little bit for a better fit. One reason I love these is how flattering the fit is. These will elongate your legs but they feel super comfortable. I almost can’t believe they are work pants because of how stretchy they are! Lengthwise, they are perfect for my 5’3 frame. No alterations needed here. Also, I want to point out, these are not high-waisted pants. They are more of a mid-rise. However, tops tuck into these tie-waist pants just fine.

While these pants may have more of an office feel, they are definitely not just for work! Pair them with a fun scallop cami and heels for dinner dates or brunch. I love wearing feminine sweaters and this pointelle one can either help dress up these pants or down depending on the shoes you wear.  If all fails, a basic t-shirt and a pair of flats will be an easy go-to outfit.

Since these pants come in so many colors, I did a try-on session featuring the lavender and chambray, too. You can find photos here. I will say, the chambray pair are beyond stretchy!
