THANK YOU TO LACOSTE FOR SPONSORING THIS POST. ALL OPINIONS ARE MY OWN.
Spring is around the corner and this is the perfect time to take a look at your closet, purge items you no longer need or wear and make room for fresh items you can wear multiple ways. I love finding pieces you can wear for work and on the weekends and Lacoste’s Motion Collection is full of versatile pieces. Of course, it’s always fun to buy trendy items, but it’s important to think about cost per wear and investing in those items. I’m so excited to share the best pieces I found from Lacoste for spring outfits. There are pieces in this post you can reach for over and over, regardless of the occasion or where you’re heading. Plus, a bright color never hurt anyone.
CLASSIC OXFORD & POLO
Don’t know what to wear? An oxford shirt will get you out the door looking classy in no time. I love Lacoste’s Soft Cotton Oxford because it has the shape of the cult classic but doesn’t wrinkle and is super soft on the skin. It’s a fresh take on the “crisp” shirt and is still perfect for workwear. Style with pants or a skirt with heels for the office and swap out with sneakers for casual spring outfits. I’m wearing size 32 and the fit is perfect. I appreciate the longer length and tucking it into bottoms is a breeze.
P.S. MEETING JOHNNY FOR COFFEE OR LUNCH IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS TO DO DURING THE WORK DAY.
EASY MENS OUTFITS
For the men in your life, you can’t go wrong with a polo. When Johnny doesn’t know what to wear, he reaches for a polo shirt because the outfit possibilities are endless. Whether he wants to go super casual and style with stretch track pants, chino pants, or cotton pants a polo works perfectly. Johnny has pretty broad shoulders, so I always get him size L (5) to make sure he’s comfortable. One of his favorite details on this polo is the zipper. He loves going “full zip” and I love having the option of making it a more classic look but unzipping slightly.
I like to set up Johnny’s closet for easy spring outfits this time of year. I make it so regardless of what he reaches for, he can easily create an outfit that flatters him and is appropriate for where he’s heading whether it’s a work lunch or tacos with the guys. This beige full-zip hoodie has an elevated feel thanks to the structured but extremely soft fabric. It’s elevated enough to throw over a button-down shirt and casual enough to wear leaving the gym.
PLEATED SKIRT
I love a pleated skirt for spring outfits. This one from Lacoste has an elasticized waist and is made of jersey. The quality is fantastic. It’s a nice weighted material and isn’t see-through at all. No need to worry about any embarrassing moments whether you’re walking around the office or heading to brunch with friends. I’m 5’3 for reference and this hits right above my ankles. For a more sporty look, I’m styling it with sneakers but you can wear heels to elevate it for work. Strappy heeled sandals would make this skirt perfect for date night or anything on your spring social calendar.
