Draper James Magnolia Romper c/o, Ivanka Trump heels (similar here), Prada Cuir tote
Turquoise Earrings c/o, Olive + Piper bangle c/o
I’m a big Monday fan because it’s the day I go back to doing what I love: being a storyteller! But I know a lot of y’all are probably feeling the Monday blues, so here’s something blue to perk you up. This Draper James Magnolia Romper is one of the chicest I’ve ever seen. While most rompers are flowy, this one is structured and sharp. Honestly, I really want to try and wear it to work – let’s see if that flies for TV news, ha! This magnolia print is a Draper James classic, but it’s updated with a baby blue background for their partnership with Net-a-porter! The cotton piqué fabric is what gives this Magnolia Romper it’s stunning silhouette. Plus, with the open cutaway back, this pretty piece is pretty darn irresistible. The length of both the shorts and sleeves keep this romper conservative, too.
To keep the blue theme going, I am pairing this Magnolia Romper with more blue accessories. A pair of turquoise earrings have been on my to-buy list for a while and these ones with bronzed veins are perfect. The shape and especially the size, make these versatile. I can easily wear these to work and they aren’t too distracting. Also, I feel like every woman needs a pair of blue shoes. I first got these last summer and I love wearing them beyond typical blue outfits. They are so chic with white, black or gray dresses. Plus, I consider blue a neutral, so I throw these on with other colors, including yellow or pink. I highly recommend a pair of blue shoes for any closet!
