The response to the Gibson x International Women’s Day collaboration has been incredible! I’m so overwhelmed by your kind words on the launch of my top at Nordstrom. Today, I want to share how to style my blogger babe Roselyn‘s top she designed. It’s a feminine blouse with a smock waist. I love the ruffles along the v-neck and darling buttons. Roselyn and I are wearing the lavender color but it also comes in a bright pink floral! What I love about the solid lavender is how it’s perfect for work. One thing I had in mind when designing my top is its versatility. Roselyn’s top is no exception and I want to share my tips for styling one top two ways for work.

WEAR WITH CROP WIDE LEG PANTS

Roselyn has such a fun, feminine sense of style. She wears lots of fun prints and always has a smile on her face, which I love! She’s pairing her top with these fun wide-leg crop pants for a chic work look. I absolutely love this for more creative work settings or even offices that have a more lax dress code. There are small hints of lavender in these pants so it really makes this look cohesive. Roselyn definitely looks ready for spring here! Also, notice how she’s tucking in her lavender top. Another tip for styling one top two ways for work is to tuck it into high-waisted pants. The smock waist on Roselyn’s top hits at the perfect place for tucking in. Roselyn is wearing fun black heels but you can definitely wear pumps with this look, too.

WEAR WITH CLASSIC TROUSERS

You can’t go wrong with the classic blouse and trousers combination. I got these washable wool pants last year and they are a great go-to for more conservative environments. The wool has stretch so it’s comfortable to wear all day. What I really enjoy is how you can throw them in the washing machine and don’t have to take them to the dry cleaners. For wool pants, that’s awesome! I’m wearing size Petite 00 and they fit perfectly. The pockets are generous and the flat front with the pleats are chic.

Whether you get this top in lavender or the floral print, it’s perfect to pair with solid colored trousers. This is one of my favorite ways for styling one top two ways for work. To finish off the look, I am wearing nude heels for a more spring look but black pumps would be fantastic as well. I’m wearing them with the bottom of the blouse out but if you have high-waisted pants, they would look beautiful tucked in.
