I’m partnering with my Anthropologie Virginia Beach to show some fall outfit ideas. It’s still quite warm here in Hampton Roads, but that doesn’t mean I can’t wear some fall clothing. As many of you may know, I currently work afternoons into evenings since I’m a nightside reporter. However, that doesn’t mean I get to sleep in! I’m up in the mornings and usually am rushing out the door to meetings, grabbing breakfast with friends or running errands before popping into the station for my shift.

This cowl neck sweater caught my eye in store because of its versatility. It’s soft to the touch and also comes in a beautiful nude and ivory color. The cowl isn’t too oversized, so this is great for petite gals! When I’m rushing out the door, I can throw a cute skirt over it, some heels, and I’m good to go. This sweater is tunic length, so it works equally well with jeans. I’ve styled it on my Instagram with white distressed jeans and nude heels for a last minute dinner with friends. I love that it’s sleeveless, so I can still get away with wearing it in 80-degree temperatures. I’m always cold inside buildings anyways!

Lately, I have to have some type of beverage to go, whether it’s coffee, tea or a smoothie. Instead of buying coffee frequently, I make it at home as much as possible. This travel mug is adorable and the message is a great reminder something fantastic could happen every day. I usually start to make the beverage when I wake up, so I can just grab it as I’m rushing out the door. The nautical theme is great since I live in a community where almost everyone is U.S. Navy. I’ve gotten so many compliments on this mug!
