Hello Everyone! It’s a dreary week in Virginia with rain, clouds and some chilly temps in the forecast. When the weather brings me down, I rely on my wardrobe to bring me back up. I love the romantic vibe of this embroidered dress. Plus, it’s on sale! I instantly feel so feminine and I can’t wait to wear this on a date with Johnny since he is here! We are celebrating seven years of being together, especially since we are long distance. If you are looking for tips on how to have a happy long-distance relationship, check out our post.
First of all, the color of this dress is a spot-on wine red, so if you are thinking of taking a trip to a vineyard soon, pack this! The fabric of this dress is ultra soft and I love the babydoll silhouette. It really lengthens gives the illusion of longer legs, which is something I’m always after. Since bell sleeves are hot right now, I love the slit in the long sleeves, especially when the wind blows! I’m dabbling into my flirty side and am enjoying the multiple keyholes in this dress. There’s one in the front, so I highly recommend you carefully check your undergarments. Most bras should be good, but a stick-on bra always comes in handy with keyholes like these of course. Also, there are two keyholes in the back, but my bra strap did not peek out. Just check yourself in the mirror before heading out.
This dress also comes in black with white embroidery as well in case wine red isn’t your thing. Another aspect really drawing me to this dress are the side seam pockets. Y’all know how much I appreciate those! Since we are battling some chilly temps in Virginia, I am styling these with my favorite over-the-knee boots, which match the black embroidery. However, a sleek pair of lace-up heels.
