Quick Lookbook Post & Review :: New Ann Taylor Necklace on the Rooftop Garden at The Met Museum

Hello, Everyone! Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend.
I have been lusting after this Pearlized Oval Ann Taylor necklace from the time it fist debuted in stores back in early Spring. However, I couldn’t justify spending $100 for it, so I eagerly awaited for it to go on sale. When it did, they sold out. With dim hope, I searched eBay and kept checking stores without any good news. But, two weeks ago, Jonathan and I were at an Ann Taylor and spotted this necklace behind the cash register. The sales associate explained the necklace was broken, but I bought it anyways. After repairs from a trusty jeweler here in New York, this beautiful necklace is ready to be incorporated into my pairings.

This beautifully-made pearl and rhinestone necklace reminds me of something Her Royal Highness The Queen would wear. While I love gold tones, I fell for this necklace because of its oversized oval pearls. There are five sets of stones altogether in three different sizes. This necklace is well made, which you can feel in weight, and holds up well on my neck. The toggle clasp is sturdy and doesn’t slip behind my neck. The stones and pearls are held in place with four prongs, each.
If you happen to see this necklace in stores, I highly, highly recommend it. This necklace is great for both casual and dressy pairings. You’ll be seeing more of this beauty soon!

Thank you so much for reading my quick post!
