Our entryway decor has evolved a lot since we moved in, and now it’s finally complete! I fully believe when it comes to decorating, patience makes perfect. We’re so thrilled with how this space turned out and excited to share it with all of you.
First impressions are everything, so when you walk through the door, we wanted to make sure our entryway decor is equally beautiful, inviting and functional. We’ll start with the piece you all see most often, the oversized mirror! I wasn’t sure if we’d be able to fit something this big in our home, but it actually makes the space feel more grand because the light bounces off it and gives the illusion of larger square footage. Another statement for us was the art hand-painted on natural linen by Beverly Fuller. Although it’s neutral, which we love, the texture actually makes it quite dynamic. Underneath that is this ebony cabinet, whose details are quite stunning – the slat detail, the marble top, and the soft close doors all made the wait worth it! The three other major pieces are this gorgeous chair for guests to take off their shoes, this geometric runner, and this modern sputnik chandelier (similar, not exact).
Beyond the bigger items, we added smaller pieces of entryway decor to round out and finish the space. One thing many people don’t think of but we’ve come to value quite a bit is a guest book! It means so much to thumb through the pages and reflect on all the good times spent at home with our friends and family. I also love this picture frame made from two of my favorite materials, acrylic and brass. Candles are really good at setting the mood, and this one immediately makes guests feel comfortable and relaxed. A vase of fresh flowers also helps set the mood! Finally, this coffee table book is a favorite because of its beautiful photography, neutral design and good size.
