[outfit_details]Pink Monochromatic Look
Monochromatic looks are some of my favorite because of how chic they are and easy to create. This pink monochromatic look is a one way I’m easing into fall. A monochromatic look doesn’t always has to be the same shade of the color. I love subtle differences because it can really make the outfit pop. This pink knit sweater has pom poms in the shape of a heart, which is quite adorable. This is a chunky knit sweater made of acrylic, so it’s perfect for fall and into winter. Acrylic is quite warm, but unlike wool and cashmere, it’s not as breathable. However, if you’re cold this is a great option. The v-neck means you can wear it off one shoulder for a slouchy look, too. Also, this sweater comes in white, lavender and tan.
As we transition into fall, there are still some warm pockets of weather. I love mixing sweaters with skirts and booties for this reason. It’s an easy to create fall outfit but won’t make you burn up. This suede skirt has beautiful pleats with buttons lining the front. There is an elastic band in the back, so it’s stretchy and comfortable. I decided to do a half-tuck with my sweater into the skirt for this pink monochromatic look. However, you can also tuck it in all the way for a more pulled-together feel. Pink booties can be hard to find, but Bordeaux is an extremely popular fall color. These sock booties have a sturdy stacked heel and are comfortable to wear. Plus, they’re easy to get on and off. The Bordeaux color really pops against the other shades in this pink monochromatic look, really completing it.
