I’ve discussed before that our approach to seasonal decor is very similar to our overall aesthetic: contemporary, minimalist and neutral. Little touches can go a long way in changing up a space, like our new modern living room decor for spring from Arhaus! Their aesthetic matches ours perfectly and after receiving our new coffee table from them, I was thrilled to pick up a few pieces that subtly brighten the room.
Gela Tray
I love anything marble, and what stands out to me most about this tray is the cylindrical brass feet that make the piece look less heavy by adding a little space between the cabinet surface and the marble. We also added a pop of color by styling travel books on it with a bud vase.
Luana Frame
I find bone inlay to be absolutely stunning. Its natural tone is light yet warm, and I love the one-of-a-kind texture it brings to the frame as well. Also, updating the photos in your frames can be a nice opportunity to lean into the season!
Faye Round Basket
Wicker is a material I associate most with warm weather, and between that and the open weave, this basket felt like the perfect nod to spring that’s also very functional. Storing the blankets in there versus draping them on the sofa like we usually do takes some visual weight off the sectional. When decorating for spring, it helps that our largest piece of furniture is already a light and airy color!
Boucle Lumbar Pillow Cover
Pairing the stone washed velvet pillow with the ivory boucle lumbar instead of the darker throw pillows we had on there prior instantly changed the feel of the space. We were still able to maintain the coziness of our modern living room decor because of the texture! Boucle is a very nubby and transitional textile.
