Finally, it’s October! This diamond-knit dress from Maggy London feels soft, cozy and has a feminine fit and flare silhouette. It really is the perfect fall dress for me. This is a great option for dressier work environments or holiday parties if you want the comfort of a sweater dress while needing to look fancier. The material is soft and is pretty warm. I could easily see myself reaching for this dress when temperatures dip even more. It’ll pair nicely with tights and boots along with a peacoat. The mock neck is modern and I know when it gets windy, I’ll appreciate the higher neckline. Also, this dress has pockets with zippers! My iPhone fits inside along with credit cards and ID, so I don’t have to carry a purse if I don’t want to. All reasons making this the perfect fall dress.

Maggy London offers both petite and regular sizing. Here, I’m wearing a size 0 in regular sizing and it fit me right out of the box. The length of the dress in regular sizing is 35 inches on a size 8 and 34 inches on an 8P. On my body, it hits right above the knee, which is a little conservative, but since this is a dress for cool weather, I don’t mind. The sleeves run a little long for me, but that was an easy hem job. I have yet to actually try Maggy London petite sizing because I’ve had great luck with their regular sizing. On Nordstrom‘s website, it says for regular sizing to order your usual size. But if you go for petite sizing, to get one size up.
