The feeling of being 100 percent confident in who you are and what you are wearing is something everyone should feel. I know for many of us, that starts with what we are wearing. To me, style is a way of communicating who you are without even speaking a word. I’m partnering with White House Black Market to share a workwear style I feel like a powerhouse in. The days of boring suits are over. If you have an office setting where you can be a little bold with color, try a colored suit! This suit has a soft fabric really moving with you as you go, whether you’re jetting across town for meetings or staying in at your desk. One aspect I really love about this particular suit is how the color is vibrant but not too bold and in your face. The rusty red is feminine and not too hard to pull off.

Fit wise, I’m wearing size Petite 00 in both the jacket and pants. The jacket fits like a glove and isn’t too tight, even when it’s closed. Also, the sleeves aren’t too long either. However, the big surprise for me is how the pants didn’t require any alterations! They are the perfect length with a pair of heels. I’m 5’3 for reference and I still can’t believe I didn’t have to alter these! When it comes to workwear style, something that’s a must is how wrinkle proof an outfit is. Wrinkles from sitting down at your desk or being in the car can look unprofessional. This soft fabric doesn’t crease like a lot of harder fabrics and looks great even if you’ve have been sitting for a while.
