Hey Y’all! This is so crazy there are only a few days left in 2017! I’m so ready for 2018 to arrive and for all the exciting things I have planned. It’s much colder in Dallas than I had anticipated. I’m partnering with River Island to share a cozy, yet chic winter look. I’m living in cozy sweaters so I love being able to tuck them into a cute skirt such as this gingham paper bag mini skirt. I love a good gingham piece for fall and winter because you can restyle them so many ways. This gingham paper bag mini skirt would be chic with any color blouse or sweater. Sadly, this skirt sold out. However, this is a super similar version and looks so cute on. The paper bag trend is actually quite chic if you pair it with the right item. I’m wearing size US 2, which fits beautifully. This skirt also comes in leather and suede.
Cable knit sweaters are some of my favorites and this one is no exception. The cable detailing is also on the sleeves, which add a unique touch. Plus, with Christmas over, I do appreciate the more orange-red hue of this particular sweater. With its fuss-free fit, you can throw this on and head out the door. I love the rolled hems and how soft the nylon, merino wool and baby alpaca blend is. I’m wearing size XXS, which fits beautifully. This is the same sweater I paired with my festive tartan vest in this look on my Instagram. I Plus, the fabric doesn’t pill too much. I wash all of my wool and cashmere at home using this gentle detergent and then allowing the pieces to air dry. This allows me to wear my favorite fabrics without breaking the bank with dry-cleaning bills.
