Ann Taylor is having one of their incredible sales where items are 50% off and you get free shipping with code FALL50. This Ann Taylor sale ends tonight at 11:59 EST. Ann Taylor is one of my favorite places to shop because they have both wardrobe staples and trendy items. Unfortunately, there is not an Ann Taylor store in Hampton Roads. The closest one is in D.C., which is three hours away. I placed my Ann Taylor sale order last week and can’t wait to show you what I got when they arrive! I’m listing my picks for the sale here, including cozy items, professional silhouettes for work and the beautiful blush hue I’m currently in love with.

COZY SWEATERS

First up, sweaters! Some of my favorite sweaters have been from Ann Taylor, including the peplum one I’m wearing above from last year. This year’s version comes in three beautiful colors with a more refined look. I ordered this ruffle cuff sweater in burgundy and am thinking about getting the gray as well. Also among my favorites: a camel high-neck sweater and striped blush one.

WORKWEAR

Fall is a great time to add new office-appropriate items to your closet. I’m a big fan of wrap dresses and Ann Taylor makes a classic silhouette in fall’s trendy colors including burgundy, navy and a forest green. Also among my picks are an elegant tweed jacket and skirt. I wouldn’t necessarily wear these together. Separately they are great pieces you can wear into spring with pastel hues. Hence getting more wear out of a piece you got on sale. Next out of my workwear picks is a fit and flare sweater dress you can easily dress up with a necklace.

BLUSH HUES

Finally, there are lots of trendy fall colors but most of all, blush is the hue right now. Ann Taylor has plenty of different shades of blush or mauve, too. I love this bell-sleeved blouse and this soft cardigan. I have a beige cardigan, but I’ll probably add this to my collection. What’s great about blush is you can wear it with gray, navy, black and hunter green for fall and winter. Another way to style the shade once spring comes around is pairing it with white or pale blue. With this in mind, I convinced myself to buy a couple mauve-toned items.
