I am a sucker for anything with exquisite detail and this dress with romantic embellishments is no exception. I love the rust and rose-gold color beads against the soft black chiffon. This dress oozes femininity and is so beautiful with its voluminous fabric. Up close, the beading is truly stunning and no detail is left unfinished. There are even sparkly beads on the sleeves and cuffs of this dress. The beads itself catches the light and sparkles so beautifully. The sheer sleeves add to the dainty delicate feel. One aspect of this dress I love is how the waist line is higher up, giving the illusion of longer legs. This is great for ladies who are shorter, too.

This is the perfect dress for a party, night out or a date. Instead of heels, I am going with over the knee boots. This gives it a slightly edgier look and makes the over the knee boots dressier and appropriate for the evening. Since winter is fully upon us, I enjoy being able to stay warm, even if I’m wearing a fancier dress. I am wearing my favorite cashmere tights and combined with boots, my legs are so warm. Plus, since this dress is black, I am opting for my black boots to streamline the look.

When encountering sheer dresses, including this one with romantic embellishments, the right undergarments are key. Instead of a bra, I am opting for a lacey bralette to give this dress a softer vibe. I also love how it makes the beads stand out against the darker fabric. I originally tried this dress with a bra but didn’t like the straps. A stick-on bra would also work well in this case, but I enjoyed the free spirit of a bralette.
