Happy Monday Everyone!
Over the weekend, Johnny and I took a spontaneous trip to Asheville, North Carolina with our friends Kim and Michael. Asheville is absolutely beautiful and so romantic. It is a great place to go for a fall couples trip! There is so much to do and eat. I’ll give more details on our trip in Wednesday’s post, including our visit to the gorgeous Biltmore Estate! The weather in Asheville was excellent, not too cold, but warm enough for us to not require major bundling up! I packed light, but brought versatile pieces, including my favorite over-the-knee boots.
This raglan sweater from Shein arrived in the mail a few days before our trip, so I threw it on for our night drive and kept it on for the first day there. First of all, this sweater is so cozy. Plus, the color is a beautiful light mauve, which is so versatile. This sweater appears more on the pink side online, so I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived and has a more mauve tone. The knit is more on the chunky side and is decently warm for the price, too. The weather in Asheville varies between low 40s and mid 60s this time of year. During cooler mornings and nights, I would bundle up in my leather jacket.
These front panel vegan leather leggings are without a doubt favorite from years ago. I spotted a few sizes available here, so if you want them, act quickly before they sell out! These leather front leggings are so so comfortable and warm. They have ponte in the back and an elastic waistband. They are form fitting and hold their shape well. I also love how they fit inside boots so easily. Leather leggings are a must-have item for fall and winter. They really elongate your legs and look fantastic with sweaters whether you go for chunky, oversized or more fitted ones. These vegan leggings are an investment, but I have definitely gotten so much value out of them over the years.
