While we don’t necessarily have a cold season in Texas, the temperatures are warming up right now, which means it’s time to pull out my spring and summer wardrobe! I absolutely love wearing dresses. They make it so easy to look polished and can translate very differently depending on how you wear them. As Buddhists we don’t celebrate Easter, but I know many of you do and with Easter on the way, I wanted to put together some outfits for the spring that will work very well for the holiday.
I really love this outfit because each piece individually is fantastic, and even better together! All of the accessories are neutral, meaning they would typically fade into the background with such a vivid dress, but they don’t because of the mix of textures and silhouettes. The cream satin bow is a fun detail that makes the whole look feel extra feminine.
This midi dress is absolutely stunning. I love how the ruffled sleeves, corset bodice and tie waist make such a statement, especially when paired with the floral brocade fabric. It’s certainly an investment piece, but this dress can be worn for all your spring and summer occasions like holidays and weddings. All of the accessories are equally beautiful and timeless without detracting from the dress itself.
This is the most simple of these outfits for the spring, which I do think makes it more versatile. Though more on the casual side, the pearl studs and knotted headband add a good bit of personality. You can also switch out the shoes and/or bag, which are definitely wardrobe staples, to elevate the look if you want! This outfit is a great option when you have different events on your agenda of varying formality.
