Hello My Beautiful Friends!
How adorable is this Trina Turk simple green dress? Plus, it has pockets! If a dress has pockets, I’m almost immediately swayed to have it. They are so handy in my line of work, plus I love having a place to nonchalantly put my hands. This green dress would fit so well into any closet unless you happen to be a meteorologist haha! This dress is almost an exact match to green screens! I love how this shift dress skims my body and still gives a nice silhouette without being too boxy. I’m wearing size XS here. The neckline has a nice v-neck, but isn’t too deep and still very office appropriate. I also love the quarter length puff sleeves, which surprisingly aren’t too hot for summer. I got so many compliments when I wore this dress to work. It’s an understated dress, yet looks chic and professional. This would be a great piece to style up with heels and statement earrings or down with a cute pair of flats. The color is so gorgeous in person and would wear well year round. Just throw on a trench when it’s cool.
Here, I’m styling it up with these statement earrings from Migonne Gavigan, who created designs for Bergdorf Goodman. These tassels are definitely on the dramatic side, but I enjoy the look. I really love the citrine paired with the cerulean since it makes the earrings easier to pair. Tassel earrings are on trend right now and these really kick it up a notch. They are handmade with a citrine pom pom and the tassels are made of glass beads. I could see myself wearing these with a simple white t-shirt and jeans or an elegant black gown.
