Hello, Everyone!
As mentioned in my Seafoam on the Pier post, I have been hunting this H&M buckle belt for quite a long time. I have found myself wearing it to the office over and over to cinch in my petite waist. With it’s rich cognac brown color and bright gold buckle, it fits perfectly with almost all the colors in my wardrobe, including greige. The length of the belt is easily adjustable, so you can wear it higher up on your waist or more towards your hips (if you’re petite). If you have a pair of similar brown pumps, this is a must have!
This flutter, ruffled top is one of my favorite pieces. There is something about navy blue that’s so sophisticated and elegant. A big steal from Anthropologie at $10, this top is great for all seasons. It’s rich and pigmented enough to be worn in the colder months with cardigans and sweaters and whimsical enough to be worn in warmer months by itself. I like tops with texture and detailing and the bow really pulls everything together.
A secret I have for office fashion is to buy suits in addition to skirts. I find myself with more options when I purchase a suit, because now I have a jacket, skirt, and of course, the suit itself. The skirts in suits are usually an office-appropriate length and fit. This greige skirt is part of a beautiful Tahari suit purchased years ago. I’ve found myself enjoying the versatility of this skirt. It can be easily paired with warm or cool colors without clashing.
Thank you so much for reading!
