One Dress Two Ways: Green Ruffle Dress (also in pink), Prada Cuir Tote, Black Sunglasses
Kendra Scott Earrings, Christian Louboutin Pumps, Tory Burch Sandals
Hello Lovelies! Quite a few of you are taking interest in what I wear at work, so I’m going to start sharing more work wear outfits on the blog. Y’all know I prefer dresses doing double duty so today I’m showing you one dress two ways. This green ruffle dress caught my eye because of the color and its flirtiness. The ruffles are just darling and I like how they go all the way to the back. At first, the ruffles on the bottom were a little concerning. I was afraid it would make the dress appear too girly and perhaps childish. However, upon trying it on, this was not the case. This dress works in a professional environment if you pair it with the right accessories.
For work, I keep things classic with nude pumps. Of course, my hair is in its usual soft curls and down. I got lots of compliments on this dress the day I wore it at the station. Plus, the pockets are so useful for tucking away my phone but still have it within reach. To make this green ruffle dress more casual, I would nix the heels. Go for comfy sandals, such as these, which I find are fantastic for walking in. If it’s the weekend, throw your hair up in a no-fuss ponytail and keep it out of your face. For me, this is especially handy for when I’m eating. If this particular shade of green doesn’t suit you, this dress also comes in a vibrant pink.
