There are so many parts to a wedding and the wardrobing in and of itself is a lot to tackle and coordinate. Thankfully, we were able to work The Black Tux to make sure all the men in our wedding party from groomsmen to the Dads looked sharp. Johnny and I have used The Black Tux for all of his tuxedo needs since 2019. We absolutely love it.

The Process
The Black Tux makes it so easy to get a great-fitting tuxedo. If you want to do the process fully online, you fill out a fit survey and choose your design. The Black Tux’s quiz uses a fit algorithm to best recommend the best sizes for you based on your answers. From there, someone from the Black Tux fit team will review your order.
If you prefer an in-person approach, you can head to the nearest Black Tux location. Johnny and I have always gone to the one in Dallas and so did our entire wedding party. The team there is fabulous and so fun to work with! They are also patient and really take their time taking measurements. Every body is unique and they made sure every single gentleman looked fantastic. We did have one groomsman where the staff couldn’t get the pants to fit properly. He is quite athletic, so he ended up purchasing the pants and getting them tailored for the perfect fit.
Johnny chose the Midnight Blue Tuxedo for his groomsmen. Our Dads wore the Peak Lapel Tuxedo. The groomsmen all wore patent leather loafers and I complimented their look with satin bow ties.
From there, the Black Tux makes it so easy to check out. If each groomsman is responsible for taking care of his wardrobe, he’ll check out and that’s it. If the bride or groom or someone else is taking care of the cost, they can easily check out. Don’t worry if sizes need to be changed after checkout. You have until they ship to make adjustments!
Two weeks before the event, your tuxedo will arrive. You have 48 hours to make sure everything fits perfectly. If it doesn’t, you can request a new size. The Black Tux recommends ordering your look at least 21 days in advance. Since we had six groomsmen, I went ahead and placed the order more than a month in advance to make sure we could secure the sizes we needed. The tuxedo comes in a garment bag for easy transport and comes with socks just in case!
After you’ve celebrated and partied along in your tuxedo, the return process is super simple. Put everything back into the garment bag, tear off the shipping label addressed to you to reveal the new label and drop it off at UPS! That is it! No doubt, Johnny and I will continue to use The Black Tux for more special occasions because it’s so easy and the price to rent is affordable.
