Hello My Beautiful Friends!
How many of you live in a place where it’s warm almost all of the year? As much as I would love to bundle up in scarves and sweaters every day this fall, some days are so warm, I would be profusely sweating! So I’m sharing a warm fall outfit idea that’s easy to recreate! I’ve actually worn a lot of sleeveless tops this fall, which is crazy!
It’s no surprise I’m a big Topshop fan. When I spotted this top with flutter sleeves, I was hooked. It also comes in black velvet and crushed velvet which are excellent for fall. This would be a great top to wear to Thanksgiving dinner with a cream colored cardigan for when it’s chilly. It’s trendy, yet isn’t too revealing, so you’ll be comfortable wearing it around family. I love how it has straps, too. This means you’re set for carving turkey or fighting for that last piece of pumpkin pie without worrying about any slippage. Plus, it is very comfortable on, so there’s no adjusting needed.
Of course, a warm fall outfit is not complete without booties. I love these suede booties I snagged during Nordstrom’s Anniversary sale earlier this year. If you’re looking for something similar, I love these gray ones, too. What I love about booties is how they instantly make any outfit feel more fall-like. You could wear them with shorts and an off the shoulder top and it will be fall outfit (totally guilty of this during the Wings over Houston airshow). I prefer booties for a warm fall outfit since they aren’t as warm as boots. Almost all of my boots are over the knee and if I wore those on a day where it’s warmer than 70 degrees, I’ll probably melt.
