After feeling sick as a dog all weekend long, I was inextricably happy to see the sun come out on Valentine’s Day, not to mention, I was actually beginning to feel much better! The weather warmed up so I wore a simple jersey red dress paired with a hot pink cashmere cardigan for extra warmth.

I love the adding gold to the mix since it’s one of my favorite colors. I used a kids JCrew glitter belt to cinch my waist and it picked up on the gold clasp of my pearl necklace.

Jonathan and I couldn’t really go out at night since we both had lots of studying to do, but we were able to go out to lunch together! And, he got me the apricot Tory Burch flats I’m wearing in the photos as a Valentine’s Day gift! He knows me so well <3
